Little shot. Kind of like a flesh wound. You'll be fine.

Tampa won the Super Bowl last year after starting 7-5
Im tired of this lazy ass comparison. The talent isn't close, the QB isn't close.

This Rams team will be lucky to make the playoffs and win a game. We still have to play SF one more time, and after they beat us they will have the tiebreaker and move ahead of us.

So, not 'if they beat us'? ... In your opinion, it's a foregone conclusion?

Shanahan Jr. has run the same offense his whole life as OC and HC. Teams still struggle to stop him.

McVay got figured out 2/3 of the way through his second year (See @Bears, @Det and SB53).

A true OC that calls plays and game plans would be a benefit but does he have anything else in that offense? Has he been figured out and does he have a second act?
What's funny is after that Bears game in 2018 shit looked really dim for a few games. Then they brought in CJ and his rumbling ass reset the run game and got this offense rolling again.

His offense has always looked great ONLY when he's got a good run game going. Without that the overall talent starts to show and we see that they're not special. This OL is only special in our minds and when the smoke and mirrors are running. The QB is not special, and whether he ends up being special is to be determined. Our wideouts are good at the top (Kupp & Woody) then shit. I mean that pass on third down where Jefferson got hit in the face just fuck. Maybe Jefferson and OBJ improve, same with Stafford. I am hopeful but fuck.

But back to the run game... When Gurley was rolling things were good. When he started to struggle the offense looked like shit. When we added CJ the offense was good again until they phased him out and didn't replace what he added. Then they were shitty again while they tried to rely on Henderson and Brown. Then they were good again when Akers started hitting his stride.

Early this season they were getting enough balance on the ground and things looked good. But teams at this point are doing the same old shit now and it's because they don't fear our run attack. Stafford is a gunslinger who will gamble and when he's feeling pressed he just gets reckless. So I don't know where this goes tbh. But I do know that the #1 priority should fucking be the run game. Fix that first, establish that shit in these next games, and hopefully 9 and the wideouts can get on the same page and get rid of the mistakes so this offense can at least return to good efficiency.

I hope the Rams' players and coaches are a whole lot more mentally tough than a lot of posters here.

They're not. Have you been watching the games?

Personnel Mistakes this season

1) Thinking Reeder could be an every down player. He is situational at best.
2) Thinking Rapp is an every down player. This is the new NFL. If you can't cover the pass your roll is situational.
3) Keeping Hekker. His Leg has lost the juice.
4) Doing this star position stuff with Ramsey. Put him on the best WR and roll coverage to everyone else.
5) Not finding a way to keep John Johson
6) Not adding another blocking tight end
You forgot giving away all our high draft picks for the foreseeable future

Robert woods is hurt... Those were mainly his plays.
We weren't doing them before either so that's not the reason. Mcvay has gone dropback crazy and forgot what made his offense unstoppable. The play action.

Rodgers is one of the best of all time.... stafford were hoping finds some glory in his twilight years but he will never be aaron rodgers - because 95% are not - this isnt any epiphany.
This is about the toughness and mistakes.. not about the plays & throws that only Rogers can make.

Stafford is also 5 years younger.

We can't run the ball so we can't do play action

Tampa also had Atlanta twice and one other easy game and they had their bye with 4 games to go. We came out of the bye and lost our 3rd straight, it's not even close to the same. We have 3 division games having lost to two of them already.

Thats not true. For this game the run obviously wasn't working but in previous games it was and mcvay still didn't run much play action. I'm starting to think Stafford just isn't comfortable with it.

there is no one who makes less mistakes than him in the history of QB play.
