I smoked up a little pig feathers last night. Pretty tasty. Used my Hog Wired rub and Smokey Sweet sauce on the ribs and marinated the wings in a fresh ginger teriyaki.

I’ve mastered these 5x7” lasagnas, yielding (4-5) 5x7” pans per recipe.

The key is a “cook all day meat sauce” then combine with pepperoni and layers of high quality cheeses and pasta.

Anyway, I make them into 5x7 pans and love that scaleable size. You can make one for 1-2 people, with a salad or side and it’s perfect. Or make 2 for 3-5 people with a pizza, etc.

I freeze the ones I am not baking right away. Thaw to room temp and bake like normal. Fresh or frozen I can’t tell the difference. You can make these in advance.

My recipe is so killer. I think I could enter a contest. This one was from frozen.

Went for a lovely curry last night. Pictured is a king prawn naga curry, with chapatis and pilau rice. Absolutely delicious.

Just finishing lunch at Enoteca Turi in Belgravia. From top: vitello tonnato, sirloin steak and Fantasia di Pesche.

Went to a Mexican restaurant called Mi Parrilla that was in Fort Wayne, Indiana. This soup was shrimp, crayfish, fish, crab legs, and octopus. Was my first time trying octopus, and it was - so - good.

Also had a fantastic chicken gordita.

Brethren... I was down in Miami for work for several days and I went to an amazing restaurant last night... La Mar by Gaston Acurio. It was Peruvian/Asian. My Lord it was soooo good. Here's a couple of the dishes we ate like savages.

The pic of this doesn't do it justice. They basically made it tableside in this blazing hot stone bowl. It had Chinese pork, shrimp, tiny scallops, sweet potato, rice and I can't remember what else.

This was a whole yellowtail snapper. The fileted meat was cut into bite sized pieces and pilled-up on the rest of the fish. All of it was fried and it was sitting on an Asian sweet and spicy sauce. The fish was caught that day. I did eat the eyes too. We had already eaten a bunch of the bite sized pieces before I got the pic. Fire.

This dish had so much going on. There was octopus perfectly charred on the outside, big shrimp, and these flash fried potatoes that were better than french fries (super crunchy on the outside) and other stuff I can't remember. It was sitting in a long super hot cast iron skillet like thing. Dank AF.

I cannot give a higher recommendation for this place.

For some reason she doesn't like me going down to MyJammy without her. LOL

Not really. She always comes with me on this particular trip. It's a FL Dept of Ed thing that I have to attend once a year. It's for University/College/School presidents... so I am forced to act civilized. However, I always find a way to poke at the UF nerd. These people believe that they are super important, so these meetings are held at very swanky locations. It's always around Cammy's B-day so we treat it like a mini getaway. I have been known to skip out on a few meetings too. We got a private cabana at the adult pool on day 1 while the majority of the nerds were talking about themselves to each other all day.

Yeah... so we pick out a few restaurants prior to going and that way we make ourselves leave the resort and escape the narcissists. It's impossible to enjoy a meal around them. LOL. There are some great restaurants down there... but a good dinner is usually 4-5 hundy. We enjoy it though so it's usually worth it.

We've had to stay at this year's location the year before last. Funny thing happened. Our bellman who was bringing our luggage from our car to the room was the same one that helped us the last time we were there. At least that's what Cammy was trying to tell me when we were on the elevator going up to our room. When the bellman got to our room... he said to Cammy - "Haven't you stayed here before?". She laughed and said yes. So I'm looking at the dude... and he says... "well I don't remember him". So I said "you mother fucker". And we all laughed. That bellman has apparently worked there for like 15 years.

@Ramrasta is trying to torture me right now with pics of what he is currently eating down in Mexico. He's winning at making me totally jealous.
