Absolutely delicious. By far and away the best chicken burger I’ve ever had.

The Cajun fries were also very good and the Lotus Biscoff milkshake outstanding. I ordered a biscuit, too, but haven’t got around to it yet.

Haha... very nice.

Back in my HS days (mid 80's)... there was a Popeyes close to my school and I would go there almost daily during football and basketball season. They gave the players free lunch most of the time. I got their fried chicken sandwich every time. I needed as much fuel in the tank as possible. Believe it or not... back then the pieces of chicken on the sandwiches was even bigger (way bigger). I think they just fried a whole giant chicken breast... the buns looked tiny trying to hold in the chicken.

I don't think they had the sandwich on the menu back then. The regular fried chicken was what everybody went there for in those days. I remember having to wait for a long time while they fried the chicken for the sandwich because hardly anyone ever ordered one. I was usually late for my class after lunch because of it.

I never got tired of eating those. I always got extra mayo and pickles on mine.

Just had the biscuit and it was nice enough but nothing special. Won’t bother getting it next time, but the rest was outstanding.

I was so impressed by Popeye’s that I ordered them again tonight.

I feel a Victor Kiam moment coming along… although I hasten to add that I would never buy the Cheatriots.

I've never had their sandwich - just their fried chicken. Might have to try it.

I always thought their biscuits were too dry but I'm not really a biscuit guy.

What puzzles me is their commercials for their ghost pepper wings. They brag that their not that spicy. Then why use ghost pepper?

It's outrageous they can call them biscuits when they are blatantly not biscuits. As for not being a biscuit guy, if you eat cookies then you're most definitely a biscuit guy like me *stuffs in a few choc digestives*

This thread inspired me to order Popeye’s this week.

Spicy tenders, red beans and rice, biscuit… It’s good stuff.

Dude... this place just opened a new location near me. Cammy picked up 2 orders of their tenders with their Reaper dust/sauce. They made her sign a waiver before they'd give her the food.

Nothing is ever hot enough for us. Well, this shit was fucking insane. I could only eat about 75% of a tender before I waved the white flag. Wow! Amazing food though.

I wonder if they deliver to London?

I can eat a raw Carolina Reaper, so would love to try their tenders.

I enjoy eating hotter than just about anyone. A lot hotter. Even my son's in-laws from Mexico are amazed at times. I really love super hot.

I think everyone should try one of their tenders with their Reaper spice. They make it with Reaper pepper CONCENTRATE, not just the pepper. Sign the waiver and dig-in!

I was burning for over an hour. It's insane Brudda.

That I'd like to watch.

I used to go to a Mexican restaurant and have their Habanero margarita. They were hot but very manageable.

The owner came to our table and had some raw scorpion chilis in his hand. Stupid me said, "sure, blend 'em up." Neither he or I could get through half of one of those things. He had put 6 chilis in the batch. Little red death chunks in every sip.

I need to make some more of my ghost pepper extract. I still have 2.2 kilos of powder in the freezer. If/when I do, I'll send you some. My spice stil takes some work to set up so not sure when it will happen.

I know your penchant for heat. I'm guessing I would love them but pay for it in pain.

Man... I made some grilled shrimp the other day that I put this ghost pepper rub on. I got it from Kosmo Q. I was very surprised at the heat level. They were too hot for everyone except Cammy and me.

Ghost pepper EXTRACT though... you better go lightly on that. LOL. Ghosts are no joke.

C'mon man. Learn the language already. Cookies are NOT biscuits. Biscuits are light, moist, and fluffy - best served with a little butter and honey. What kind of weird version of our language do they teach over there anyway?

That extract was the main ingredient in my Stuicidal Tendencies Level 4.

The still trickles warm alcohol through the powder and filter material then evaporates most of the alcohol off to leave almost pure capsaicin. Yeah... it's muthuhfucking hot!

There's one on Lake Mary Boulevard that just opened. Maybe that's the one you went to? Haven't tried it... not a big spicy food guy. My chicken go-to are tandoori (Memories of India makes a good one) or Cuban (Black Bean Deli).

Not the Lake Mary location... they opened one in Altamonte too and that's the one we ordered from. Their food it really good. Not a huge selection... but it's because they have their tenders down to a science. Check em out.

My wife picked this up for me at the Winter Garden farmer's market on Saturday. I can't begin to properly describe how amazingly good they are. The flavors, spice, and texture together make for an absolute treat. I'm still amazed. I will be eating 1 per day because if I had no will power, I would just eat them all right now.

Buy some immediately if you can find them!
