I didn't hear most of the stuff I'm hearing here when they were 7-1...Now at 7-2 they're all lazy, think they don't have to be prepared and a bunch of pussies...Lots of what's being said here is valid stuff...I would have everybody look at the scores of all the games yesterday...The Rams getting upset and beaten up was awful, but they were hardly the only team...
I’m Mr. Kool-aide but it is upsetting when all the extreme venters are never happy.
Going to say awful is a little extreme.I like the AP TD.Didn’t mind getting beat that much.It did suck & the scores around the NFL put me at the bottom of the pick’um pool.
This weekend is The Biggest game of the season.Which brings me to moving forward against 49ers.This is going to be a dog fight.
Imo Ram fans should keep the venting over here,no reason to go venting & talking crap of a 7-2 team & hopefully 8-2 going into the bye week.
If 7-3 then there is 2 full weeks of talking all that negative stuff. This game doesn’t hurt really unless it is the start of a 2 game lossing streak heading into the bye week.
I could nit pick about this game, but silly to.My eye sight might be bad,but Higbee’s TD being taken away stunk.Never saw his cleats touch. He can be over the turf line with touching. There was not enough evidence IMO to vet turn that call.
Those Refs might have stunk ? The NY video group can’t change that call..I will change my opinion if someone actually saw his cleat hit the wrong side.
As a Ref myself in basketball you can go look at what is taught about foot up but over.Even a basketball can stay in bounds & 1/3 of it is over the line to never touch.

We don't match up physically with the Titans.. We lose that game 8 of ten times. I don't think the Rams are physical enough to play with the big boys.

I think a loss here and there is helpful. Resets the vision. Brings everyone back down to earth. I'm okay with it. We didn't lose to the Jets, we lost to a tough as team. We thought we were the shit, we were believe the hype and last night we got taken to the wood shed. I promise we don't lose two in a row. Our focus should be back now.

Go Rams.

Disagree. Tampa is a very physical defense. Rams just drew up the wrong gameplan

This loss came down to poor offensive line performance, some questionable play calls, and a few BS flags by the officials. Brian Allen looked totally lost last night. Go back and watch the film and he was beaten repeatedly on the sacks. Any time the Titans ran a stunt, our offensive line looked totally baffled. I'm just glad this happened now instead of during the playoffs. I'm not blaming Stafford for his poor play. No quarterback in the league could have performed well under those circumstances. He was under constant pressure the entire first half. Things got better the second half after McVay changed his play calling. Regarding McVay, when it's second and two there no need to pass the ball twice. Run the ball, get the first down, and move the chains. Teams are going to start playing soft to take away the deep ball, just like they've done to KC.. McVay needs to adjust. He also needs to come up with a short rub route combo out of his bunch set that can give us a 2-3 yard gain on third/fourth and 1. It's not that hard. Yet how many times have we seen him go deep on third and short. He out-coaches himself in some of those occasions. Just do the simple thing and move on.

I never blame the officials for a loss because teams still have 150 other plays to prove they're the better team (which the Rams weren't last night) but last night's crew was laughable - even the announcers said so. In fact, there was the call on one of the punts where the TV expert official (his name escapes me at the moment) said the penalty was enforced wrong. I give the officials the same grade as i do the Rams OL last night - an F.

So, anyway. Not sure if anyone notice our defense really only gave up 14 points. The other 14 point are all on the offense.

Just searching for some bright spots for the future!

7 of those were on the refs. We had them stopped on 3rd down before an all time bad roughing the passer call

Stubborn McVay thinking he can ram his offense down anyone’s throat even when it’s not working.
All these Head Coaches seem to be stubborn as Hell. If something is not working try something else, don't just keep banging your head against the wall. Anyone remember Martz. All these NFL DCs eventually figure out how to stop these NFL offenses.

When we were 4-1, we'd beaten 4 playoff teams from last year, so this idea that we've only beaten bums is just bullshit.

Our only losses are unfortunately at home, but to AZ and TN.

Bottom line is that short of a collapse of the Cards, we're at the 5 seed and we just need to stay healthy and prep for a deep playoff run on the road... since playing at home doesn't seem to be as much of an advantage as was thought.

But yeah, if we had to shit the bed, I'd rather it'd be against an AFC team. Sucks it's a common game with AZ, but we're not gonna win the division now, anyway, so it's really not a game that's gonna mean much other than be a lesson in what not do do.
McVay's record at home 2017-2021? 25-12. On the road? 25-11.

Two really, really bad tunrovers.
12 penalties(not all of which should have been called)
Bad interior line play.
Yet we still could have made it a game but we didn't.

Just a stinker of a game for us. (obviously the D was lights out)
Better come back out (hopefully with Miller) and make a statement against the 9er's.

I’m not saying they are lazy or that they are a bunch of pussies. Just drawing comparisons between what we saw today and what we have seen in the past when we have a prolific offense. I have no doubt we will be going deep this year. I just hope they figure out how to play physical teams in a smarter way. Makes me nervous is all.

Sometimes games are won ugly - and you have to just play smart rather try to drop 30 pts.

I felt like we were clearly having trouble blocking and getting people open - but we kept pushing. If we play it closer to the vest we have a good chance to win this.

That's easier for me to say in hindsight but I think the coaching staff will learn from this loss.

I think McVay thought he could beat up their beleaguered secondary, but Vrabel outsmarted him by dropping his LB deep to help. McVay thought his OL could handle the Titan front 4 for deep strikes…took too long to adjust…Stafford too

I have an old saying that I have always lived by and mentioned it on here a time or two, "When someone walks up to you and punches you in the mouth, do you fall on the ground and die or do you stand up and fight."

Stafford was just trying not to take a safety. Split second decision that’s easy to second guess. He had no way of knowing his forward progress was at the half yard line.
It happens

Higbee was robbed of a TD, and the roughing the passer call was truly the worst I’ve ever seen. Either way, we sucked last night but the refs certainly screwed us…

As Brees said - You have to get the ball out. Not hold it and then take a sack or throw an interception.
Yet, that is exactly what Drew Brees did in OT of the NFC Championship Game against the Rams.

With Fowler in his face, Brees threw it up for grabs and Johnson intercepted the pass.

2018 Drew Brees should have listened to 2021 Drew Brees.
