McVay did adjust in the second half.
Stafford threw two awful INTs and I felt that 3 of the sacks were on him for holding onto the ball too long.
Every player has a bad game from time to time and he's been amazing so I'm not worried. But this game was mostly lost by him IMO.

Well Stafford knows this. He said in the post presser that he should of taken what was there and guys were open.
He said he should of gotten the ball out and was looking down field too much.
Stafford is doing what he knows. Most pick 6's among active players. If anything he needs to change his bad habits of trying to do too much. That's what he says and he's being honest. What isn't being said is that the progression he goes through is what McVay wants. If McVay thought it was a problem during the game why didn't he make the adjustment before halftime? It's exactly what we saw with McVay and Goff. Wanting Goff to read deep when Goff knew his OL wouldn't hold up. It's symptomatic of how Belicheat outcoached McVay in the SB. McVay doesn't adjust well on the fly.
Whether McVay has learned something from his losses is debatable as he's making the same mistakes, something he criticized Goff for. Stafford has to learn to simply do what he knows he has to do and McVay be damned. If he knows the deep pass isn't there then don't spend seconds hoping it will be, get rid of the damn ball, and take the 5 yds.
Agreed but he doesn't need to press as much with the Rams. His stint with the Lions is why he was pressing all the time;Stafford is doing what he knows. Most pick 6's among active players. If anything he needs to change his bad habits of trying to do too much.
I agree. I think almost anyone with his arm that played for a bad team and had to constantly force things to try to win games would have those habits.Stafford is doing what he knows. Most pick 6's among active players. If anything he needs to change his bad habits of trying to do too much.
