Yeah.. if you think culture and identity are important for winning in football.. and I do.. you should probably be a little worried about the Rams chances to get to the next level.

Ask me again after our playoff game.
If he's not better than he has been over the second half of the season in his next game, that's going to be a negative...

Stafford was excellent yesterday.

He's not the reason the Rams lost yesterday.

But

Do people really think it's out of line to be disappointed in him and to expect more out of the overtime possession?

Stafford is worth it. I honestly believe next year he'll be much better...... Just my opinion. Let's just beat up on the Cards this weekend, and we'll go from there.

The OL is bad and that is the problem more than anything.
Not statistically, they were one of the highest-rated OLs in the league during the regular season. They've gotten banged around in individual match-ups.

We'll never know if we could have gotten back to a SB with OL changes and the same QB.

Stafford is actually in a good place right now. He's not a QB who is going to dominate if the pass pro is shit. The guys who can are the rare dudes like Elway, Rodgers, Mahomes and even those guys will have bad games when the protections are bad. He's not Rodgers. But again that's ok.

We have to protect him. That game had some of the shittiest pass pro I can recall seeing from our OL. We were up early because of him. We were in that game because of him. So all the whining about how he played in this game I find to be kind of funny, it tells me some of you guys still have a lot to learn about foozball.

Nothing has changed. He has two playoffs to prove he can do this. First playoffs starts now. So settle down and try to enjoy it you fucking ninnies.

Stafford led the league in interceptions this year.
Well, tied with the rookie on the worst team in the league, Trevor Lawrence. That's not OK.

When you're second in TD passes, 6th in passer rating and 4th in QBR. I don't care nearly as much about how many INTs were thrown.
Oh and when you're tied for the third best record in the NFL.

Very easily yes.

Defensive regression plus no Cam Akers/worse run game plus losing Robert Woods and we still finished a game better than last year. And our division was better overall but still went 3-3.

And Kupp went from "not explosive" to having one of the best years of all time.

Also, we went 10-0 against teams that missed the playoffs.

Last year we lost four games to non playoff teams, going 7-4.

Stafford had about 4900 yards and 41 TD. Goffs best year was 2018 with 4600 yards and 32 TD.

Even with the Rams losing Woods (arguable #1 receiver last few years) and Akers (#1 RB) the offense has been very good. I saw many argue Woods was more important to the team than Kupp before this year. Woods also was generally drafted over Kupp in fantasy football (if it matters).

What teams lose their top WR and top RB and still have success on offense? Not many.

I think people don’t realize how lucky we are to have gotten Stafford this year. I think the Rams 100% miss the playoffs this year if Goff was leading this offense.

I’ll take Stafford all day over Goff who has clearly gone backwards since 2018.

Also this was Stafford best statistical season ever. Think about that and then think with Woods/Akers/Maybe an offseason with OBJ to learn the offense... he should only improve next year. His talent is top 5 in the league and we saw that often this year.

This year's team is better than last year's team in many ways. I'd say it's a clearly better team overall. And I also think this year's playoffs are stacked in the NFC. So we're not the only really good team.

In the end it's all about survival. So as excruciating as it was to lose that final game fact remains our team is entering the playoffs playing some of their best ball. We ended up losing in the trenches on both sides of the ball to SF but still played them to OT. If we get a third game vs those fucks maybe we beat them finally.

But either way everyone's 0-0 now. Who's gonna be the last team standing, well why not us.

Again, there is no debate that Stafford is an upgrade to Goff. If someone argues against it, just stop. The main point is will he be able to compete against the likes of Rodgers or Brady, when the time is up. I understand that you need all players to click at the right moment, but there will be scenario’s where Stafford need to make a play under massiv pressure and then we will see whether the trade was successful or not.

I wouldn't mind the interceptions if they were pressure interceptions.

I mind the pick 6 interceptions inside the 20 and the long interceptions when a guy is covered by 3 guys.

Those are the ones that he needs to stop.

I didn't even mind the interception to end the game because it was one on one. I was just confused that he under threw it that badly.

Not sure what is going on with his under throws.

Nope. Give me those two picks back and use them to bolster the running game.

yeah it not just the two picks its all high round picks snead has traded away. if we had all those high picks going way back we not only could more than likely have a far better ol but also inside lb and a lot sounder df back field. but can't cry over spilt milk all we can do is root for us to put it all together and win the bowl.
