Its good that we have confidence you're never out of it with Stafford. I just wish he'd do better earlier in games. Relying on comebacks week after week is playing with fire. So are early INT's. The games we lost we dug too deep a hole to climb out of. I worry that will happen in the playoffs.
you dont understand - you are only allowed to attribute losses to him because of bad plays not wins.Stafford in 4th Qtr this season? 11 TDs, 0 INTs. Yesterday? 14 for 14 in second half.
So yes. Worth it.
That moment in the Super Bowl where Goff took so long to find Cooks was something I never really recovered from tbh. One of my worst moments as a fan jumping up and down amidst a sea of Pats fans yelling to throw the fucking ball to the wide open receiver in the endzone. Get that ball out to him on time and it's a different game. You gotta capitalize on opportunities in that moment in time, it's the difference in winning and losing. It took me about half a year, after escaping with a W in the most hostile environment ever (Superdome) I thought we had this even with no Kupp and a basically ineffective TG2 (I can understand those who didn’t rewatch the game, but rewatching it a few times shed a different light compared to my real time impression)
Myself, while those 2 50/50 balls to Cooks can be lamented forever, it was that critical phantom holding penalty on Gurley mid 3rd quarter to the the Patriots 33 or so that really screwed us (it was 3-3 still)
i remember being okay with that bad pick by Goff after the near TD to Cooks, we had our timeouts, still 3 minutes left, it was a one score game, our D was playing well, I looked at it as a pin them deep punt, get them to go 3 and out and make the final drive. (I was concerned we’d tie it up too early before the pick, tho of course I would have taken it)
Actually if Goff had thrown it a yard more to his leftThat moment in the Super Bowl where Goff took so long to find Cooks was something I never really recovered from tbh. Goff was a different QB after that. I think the team lost faith in him too. And then the Rams were idiots to pay him. Hopefully they have finally learned their lesson about locking guys up early.
That’s how I saw it after rewatching so many times, he made some damn good throws under pressure I really couldn’t appreciate until rewatchingActually if Goff had thrown it a yard more to his left
No way would the CB been able to get over in time
Cooks was waiting a good second for the ball to get to him after Goff threw it to him
Cooks could have easily adjusted to the ball in flight

Bringing back bad memories. How about you add the non-call on clear DPI on Cooks?…
Ill still maintain that holding call on Whit on Gurleys 30 yard run was a momentum changer, went from driving for a go ahead score to deflation
Hey hey no reason to relive all those memories. Just bury them deep deep DEEP down and never think of them .
New season, new QB, new opportunity to get back to that game. Goff didn't play well, but McVay also had his ass handed to him by Belichick. I suspect when we get back to that game McVay will have a much better plan
Bringing back bad memories. How about you add the non-call on clear DPI on Cooks?
How about the non-call on Brady for clearly intentional grounding that allowed them to kick winning FG instead of going to OT where it was Warner’s destiny to win it?
Yeah yeah, different SB, but sheesh why is it these Patriots have stolen two rings from our Rams?!!
When did the new emoji come into play ? Funny

Btw - I do make some Good points, just go overboard.

I have to be curious - truly curious - though as to what sets you off to post things like your last few here. I honestly have no clue as to your real point. I even read them twice as painful as it was.
The funny thing is that you will post some fairly logical posts with some really good insight.... And then you do this.
I don't really have a problem with it but you have to admit.... A lot of the stuff you write makes you go "WTF?". I mean, do YOU read what you post?
Whatever. I just know The Rams play the 9ers though s week.
They have a New QB & if you want to compare trades & the 3 QB’s.
Maybe your talking about Mac Jones being a new QB ? How Belacheat got him & by EX-Ram-OC- by Josh ? Talk about Snisher & Demoff letting them get an edge that helped beat The Rams in there last SuperBowl.
Everyone has there way of looking at things. If you look at this last Rams victory & know football we should see a top QB.Especially when you look at the numbers & what Cooper Kupp did in 16 games. Can you say Bruuuuce? If you look up at the Jumbo Tron know & reflect back at the 2021 year which still the same season the thought of Robert Woods come to mind. If you look at Wolford or Goff maybe sseeing Cam Akers will come to mind ?
All I know is Cam will play a big part of The Rams success. Van Jefferson & Cam doing the 2 point conversion looked a lot better than OBj & Sony Michael. Then if your talking The Rams losing & getting there butts kick you have Sony to reflect on.
I get negative like Sunday, but I also trust in Matthew Stafford. He was so worth trading for for so many reasons.
Well four Int Pick 6’s lead 2021 season in The NFL.
Happy New Years The Rams Fans & will the pick 6’s continue past January 2,022? As a Anaheim Fan I know it’s just another Rams victory. Cheers
