I am NOT complaining about Stafford (I am THRILLED He is the Rams QB) at all but can you imagine the Rams Games if he could play all 4 Quarters like he plays the 4th Quarter?!

Its good that we have confidence you're never out of it with Stafford. I just wish he'd do better earlier in games. Relying on comebacks week after week is playing with fire. So are early INT's. The games we lost we dug too deep a hole to climb out of. I worry that will happen in the playoffs.

I agree.

I wonder if we're going to run the ball more in the playoffs with Cam available. Currently that's a risky proposition with Sony the only trustworthy RB.

I also think McVay and Stafford will have a "playoff" offense/decision making process where we're being more careful.

It took me about half a year, after escaping with a W in the most hostile environment ever (Superdome) I thought we had this even with no Kupp and a basically ineffective TG2 (I can understand those who didn’t rewatch the game, but rewatching it a few times shed a different light compared to my real time impression)

Myself, while those 2 50/50 balls to Cooks can be lamented forever, it was that critical phantom holding penalty on Gurley mid 3rd quarter to the the Patriots 33 or so that really screwed us (it was 3-3 still)

i remember being okay with that bad pick by Goff after the near TD to Cooks, we had our timeouts, still 3 minutes left, it was a one score game, our D was playing well, I looked at it as a pin them deep punt, get them to go 3 and out and make the final drive. (I was concerned we’d tie it up too early before the pick, tho of course I would have taken it)

That moment in the Super Bowl where Goff took so long to find Cooks was something I never really recovered from tbh. One of my worst moments as a fan jumping up and down amidst a sea of Pats fans yelling to throw the fucking ball to the wide open receiver in the endzone. Get that ball out to him on time and it's a different game. You gotta capitalize on opportunities in that moment in time, it's the difference in winning and losing.

Goff was a different QB after that. I think the team lost faith in him too. And then the Rams were idiots to pay him. Hopefully they have finally learned their lesson about locking guys up early.

Cooks was waiting a good second for the ball to get to him after Goff threw it to him

Cooks could have easily adjusted to the ball in flight

That’s how I saw it after rewatching so many times, he made some damn good throws under pressure I really couldn’t appreciate until rewatching

How about the non-call on Brady for clearly intentional grounding that allowed them to kick winning FG instead of going to OT where it was Warner’s destiny to win it?

Can you say Bruuuuce? If you look up at the Jumbo Tron know & reflect back at the 2021 year which still the same season the thought of Robert Woods come to mind. If you look at Wolford or Goff maybe sseeing Cam Akers will come to mind ?

Then again Victor Cruz was a real class act.I’ve watched a lot of football in the past. Saw him catches 3 TD’s in a post season. Knew he was special &needed to make the Giants team. Talk about beating the Pats though. Eli did it TWICE.

Phillip Rivers was a solid QB. Big Ben topped them all.Saw his last game(bowl?) at Miami.He was such a Stud.He lifted with the OLineman. He did a QB sneak I believe to win a game.Either way he ended Heinz in a Classy Way. The Victory formation.I could go on.Saw Eli at Mississippi.I believe beating Peyton coach at Tennessee. Told my dad about how good P.Rivers was at NC State as he won his Bowl Game that season as well.

After watching the preseason.Yeah I was offshore & saw the Trent Green Cheap Shot.You could talk to me what that meant at the time.I trusted in Kurt Warner though & won’t see the movie.Saw the real thing. I do wonder if Tom Nutten gets much love in the movie. The Austin Blythe? London Fletcher as well ? want to talk about him.He got his first start in the 1998 season. Warner didn’t,but got enough playing time in the loss? Nutten might have been his center that game?He was in Amsterdam.

Went to watch game & before Halftime Rams are down 10-0 & Baltimore is trying to score a FG before half. Hundtley throws a INT to Fuller. Running down the sidelines Burgees is the happiest guy on the sidelines.Adter the game who is Burgees with the QB from Utah.Then add before that Matt Gays miss FG (Utah). Of course Fuller was the 4th DB from Ohio st drafted in 2020.

Have to hit past winners to see both. Chris Long won both the same year. I think for his water device ???

So here's the thing. You absolutely make some good points at times.

I have to be curious - truly curious - though as to what sets you off to post things like your last few here. I honestly have no clue as to your real point. I even read them twice as painful as it was.

The funny thing is that you will post some fairly logical posts with some really good insight.... And then you do this.

I don't really have a problem with it but you have to admit.... A lot of the stuff you write makes you go "WTF?". I mean, do YOU read what you post?
