As demonstrated by the "FHRITP" crowd. I mean seriously, what exactly are you trying to accomplish by coming up behind a female reporter, sometimes live, and screaming that? Clearly she's not going to bang you, clearly it's meant to disrupt her job, and clearly it only happens to women. It's meant to be rude, and these guys think its "funny". They're also not all that concerned about getting punched in the face, now are they? What happens to male reporters? You'll get the usual clowns mugging for the camera during a live broadcast, making stupid faces and such, but have you ever seen some guy run up to a male reporter and scream "bleep him right in the a**??"
Her comments on that whole situation start at 2:15. Sounds to me like she didn't care. The audience reaction was priceless towards her comments.

What if....a person that told, prevented a similar, future encounter of another victim? See....this is the basis for my statement....tell someone.
Seems as if there is less clothing on college and pro cheerleaders to me.
That's a weak parse.
I really don't want to have to search for more pics, but I know from being at a few events when my kids were in school that the outfits are meant to mirror what college/pro cheer teams wear.
So other than tops that specifically are meant to show cleavage, most of the outfits are very similar.

What's the basis for the parse? The $100/game? Age? It can't be attire because they all basically wear the same thing.

The only thing I see here is the creepy makeup they put on the little girls. The other squads seem about normal.
I see a range of opinions on this thread I can respect. Yours, Angry, Blue, Jerry, Old School, Champ, Gnomie my homie. I think we all are closer to agreement than you acknowledge.
Guys need to respect gals. We all are responsible for our actions. Hopefully, this investigation will reveal all truth, and have a measured outcome.

Do you know why women often don't report rape? There are many reasons why, but two of them are because they are actively discouraged and they fear they won't be believed. You are promoting both with your stance.

The one stance many make....on the prosecution side...is behavior after an incident...and what a reasonable person would do....In most cases, when a crime has been committed, reasonable people tell the proper authorities....as soon as possible...in fact....I'd like to add, valuable evidence can and should be collected.
I'm not trying to discourage the reporting of said crime.....or saying who I believe.....I think for public safety....to possibly keep the offenders from other victims....it is WISE to immediately report a crime...it's like a civic duty.

What if the victim is threatened with further violence if they go to the police? What if they're ashamed that it happened to them?
Like jrry said, there's many, many reasons why people don't report crimes immediately, especially when it comes to rape and domestic violence.
Champ, actual prosecutors do not generally take your view on crimes of a sexual nature. They have experience dealing with those sort of crimes and understand why delayed reporting is common. Your view on this issue is regressive imo.
And you may not be directly saying whom you believe, but the implication is there. Your "reasonableness" inquiry is also off the mark.
.Often times people report crimes to various authorities... and nothing is done, or prosecuted.

I'll tell you what, if I was raped by a man, I'd sure be hesitant to go tell the world. It might take me 20 years to disclose that to anyone, and I would probably take it to the grave.
These women who overcome their fear to finally disclose what happened to them deserve respect. Conversely, women that lie about it should get the shaft as well!

Hang on, one of my irl best friends just became a prosecutor. Let's go easy on them; they do play a role in society.
