Curious why you say that? NFL can’t serve warrants or issue subpoenas to other companies or individuals. This, gents, is called plausible deniability.

Huh? Do you think I made a comment about someone's character on here? I never do that!To protect the Brand.
Btw remember to deal with the content of the post not the character of the one who made it. Because otherwise it makes your post inappropriate.
Maybe everyone can stop raggin on the NFL now.
Probably not gonna happen. Also, I find it unsettling that the authorities didn't give the video to the NFL, but somehow TMZ was able to obtain AND release it.
Times have changed everyone is ultra sensitive...Its a business and you have a point to a certain degree, but is it “really” worth the risk. Think image.

But can the NFL risk being seen as paying out money in likely shady dealings to get the dirt on players?Yep, it's worth the risk imo.
Neither can TMZ.
He was cut for lying......had he told the truth from the beginning, he would have been suspended for a couple of games..and moved on.
unfortunate situation.
don't see a crime being committed on the video there so, I doubt this is a career ender for him....
definitely a season ender.

That's certainly the story.
Yeah, that's not going to be a PR debacle. The NFL and the teams have access to tons of investigators and resources. They investigate the hell out of the players they consider drafting. If the NFL wanted those tapes, they could have gotten them. It was all about plausible deniability.
I don't know. I think you are overlooking how unethical TMZ is.
Nobody respects women more then me.
I have no respect for loud mouthed bitches.
.
I have even less respect for men that think they have the right to hit a woman under any circumstances. Just makes Hunt a punk ass bitch.
Why do teams release the player instead of waiting for the punishment to be served. I don't get it. They just end up playing on someone else's team down the road instead of theirs.
While I hate what he did, this was far from an extreme, career ending situation - even if only because he had the good sense or good luck to have entourage members who actually tried to restrain him.
I would think any team would send him to anger counseling, and require that to be complete before he went back on the field - and warn him that there would be zero tolerance for any incidents.
He deserves punishment, but ending his career for this seems severe - destroying a guy in his early 20s for getting angry at a drunken party. An incident where if there were any injuries, they were minor; and where the victim supposedly has refused to speak with the NFL about it.
There are and should be gradations of punishment - not "you freaked up in a way that the cops weren't concerned, but your career is now over." as the sole punishment.
He's certainly earned being called Kareem baby door after that incident
Should one stupid non harmful action really ruin a young mans life?
What he did was despicable no doubt, but life destroying...at age 23?
Some of you virtue signallers musta had a pretty boring “yoot”
