Why do teams release the player instead of waiting for the punishment to be served. I don't get it. They just end up playing on someone else's team down the road instead of theirs.

Sure am.

.

It's sad that you think that way. This is the issue overall.

I feel sorry for you as a man and a human. And for the women in your life.

Your remark "if the bitch hit him first" is fucked up. And while I would defend myself against a woman hitting or striking me by using force to get out of the situation, and who wouldn't, your statement "If the bitch" says it all.

What dickweed runs up and down the hotel hallway to fight anyone, especially a 19 year old chick.

your position is defenseless.

You normally can't claim self defense when the person is sitting on the ground and you continue to kick them.

Agreeing with you.

Please tell me this whole line of thinking was supposed to have blue font even if it isn't funny. Kicking a person a 19 year old girl seems out of control to me

We have a NFL where Ben Roethlisberger, Zeke Elliott, Frank Clark, Tyreek Hill, Joe Mixon, Adrian Peterson, T.J. Ward, Adam Jones, and Dez Bryant all had long careers or will have long careers because their talent outweighed the bad PR. And for just about all those guys, the bad PR blew over, and most people forgot. Kareem Hunt is going to get another chance. Some team will grab him knowing that in 6 months, the majority of people won't remember or care.

If any team has a brain, they grab him now. You get him on his rookie deal. Bad PR always blows over.

While I hate what he did, this was far from an extreme, career ending situation - even if only because he had the good sense or good luck to have entourage members who actually tried to restrain him.

I would think any team would send him to anger counseling, and require that to be complete before he went back on the field - and warn him that there would be zero tolerance for any incidents.

He deserves punishment, but ending his career for this seems severe - destroying a guy in his early 20s for getting angry at a drunken party. An incident where if there were any injuries, they were minor; and where the victim supposedly has refused to speak with the NFL about it.

There are and should be gradations of punishment - not "you fucked up in a way that the cops weren't concerned, but your career is now over." as the sole punishment.

I agree and it’s likely the same will happen with Rueben foster if he’s not charged and no damning video gets released. Which is why I thought the redskins were smart picking him up and the same for whoever claims Hunt.

At the same time I don’t fault the chiefs for releasing him if he in fact lied. Nothing wrong with them wanting to distance themselves from him

To protect the Brand.

Btw remember to deal with the content of the post not the character of the one who made it. Because otherwise it makes your post inappropriate.
