I’ve got a good feeling for some reason about Goff this week. It looks bleak considering he is going to Lambeau in January for the playoffs with a robo thumb after a season that has seen him struggle with turnovers and not so accurate passing. I think it’s time for the underdog to shine. Get a feeling he’s going to be wearing some magic gloves!!!!!

Russell Wilson a Turnover Machine? Also has 13 picks.

Didn't look at fumbles.

Seems like Goff's has 23 INT or something the way ppl talk.

So are you defending Goff’s turnovers? You have to include the fumbles and strip sacks, they are still turnovers and Goff has a handful of those as well.

Wilson did not have a good second half by any stretch. And yes, he was a turnover machine as well during that time.

I’d have to look this up, but this got me thinking that’s Goffs second half wasn’t as good as his first half either...

Our second half schedule was fairly tough.

Seattle’s, one could argue... was their easier stretch... Cards, Eagles, Giants, Wash being weeks 11-15.

Point being; Wilson sucks more. :D

This can’t even be debated. Goff appeared to have taken another step in his development after the first month of the season. Man....

Even if Wolford was good to go, I've always felt and still do that Jared's experience outweighs a sore thumb. Jared's been here before. His game in 2018 in that hell hold NO dome was IMO a classic. Jared simply has to understand that he's got something most QB's don't. He's got a dominant defense on his side.

If we get the swaggering confident Jared, the Rams win this. The defense has a huge challenge. They need to stop the run, and earase Adams....something few teams have done. The teams that have beaten the Packers did it with defense.

Hey JRob, My humor missed the point. I was actually adding to your thought. Not debating that point. My words were a little funny now that I reread what I wrote.

I agree both had a worse 2nd half... I was comparing schedules. And making the point Wilson did it against an easier schedule. Or that was my logic... because it’s fun to shit on Wilson every chance I get. :p

It amazes me how much people freak out about an interception in a game.

When bulger was the saviour of the Rams for most fans in 2003 he threw 22 tds and 22 ints. Don't understand how butt hurt fans get when a qb throws an INT.

Because "sudden change" can easily cost you a game. When your offense is constantly placing your defense on the field, will they not tire easier? Or how bout the most important thing which is to score points of any kind... can't do that when your throwing it to the defense often.

Well, the issue is whether there's good QB play surrounding the INT. I'd prefer Goff not throw an INT, but if Goff throws for 300 yards, 3 TDs, and averages 9+ yards per attempt, I don't really care if he throws an INT. Obviously, though, if he only throws for 150 yards and 1 TD, that INT matters a lot more.

JR, I feel your passion in your utter distain for Goff, yet it turns out the guy you were day in and out banging hard on the table to start had the durability ( or lack of) that would make SB8 look like an Ironman (that can’t even be debated)

We shall see in less than 24 hours how that thumb holds up, I’m expecting a good showing by the Rams O

So, hypothetically speaking..if JG16 has 300 yards and a few tds, would you be ok with an int somewhere in there?

To me it sounds like you want him benched no matter what he does

I don't notice much difference between the two, but I don't have the winter experience you do lol. Regardless, it's unlikely those 5 degrees are going to make a large difference when it comes to Goff's thumb, and the gloves will hopefully improve his grip.

Dont you live in Florida or something lol. Rhody is right that 5 degrees can make a big difference especially after the sun sets.

Goff has 3 turnovers in his last 5 games.
Brady has 3 Int in his last 5 games
Josh Allen has 3 turnovers in his last 5 games.
Brees has 4 turnovers in his last 5 games
Lamar Jackson has 4 turnovers in his last 5 games
Mahomes has 6 turnovers in his last 5 games
But Goff is the turnover machine?
I'm with you. The way moniker's get thrown around without context is just mind boggling.
