For the best read on the Rams watch one of the last two games. The defense is dominant and the offense is very slow out of the gate.

The spreads are favoring Minnesota by 3, which is given to the home teams in a toss up. This game could go either way. For the Rams it will depend if good Foles, or bad Foles shows up. I am guessing it is similar with Bridgewater.

We have a good Foles?

Spot-on assessment, IMHO.

I think the Rams have the best front 4 in the league, as they should with four 1st round picks devoted to that unit. But I think the Vikings have the advantage with their back 7.

Granted, I'm basing this more off of what I know about the Vikes, and admittedly, am not overly familiar with your players at those positions.

What's the story with your LB's and DB's?

The Vikings have, what most consider, the best safety in the league in Harrison Smith. At the LBer spots we have Barr and Kendricks who are young and athletic, along with our top corner Xavier Rhodes. Those 4 are the top players of that squad. The only "meh" player in that entire 7-man group is FS Andrew Sendejo, and he's really the only player on the entire defense that I'd place in that category.

We are a HOME GROWN by the Draft team and still the Youngest team in the League 2-3 years in a row. We are so freaking stacked at CB after losing a all defensive rookie CB for the season when E.J. Gaines went down pre-season. We have a shutdown CB in Janoris Jenkins and Trumaine Johnson and #2 pick Joyner from the National Champion FSU Noles is playing up to his draft pick last season as the nickel. Tim McDonald (USC) is also playing at a Pro Bowl level this season and we have DEPTH at CB & Safety & use some Bigger Safeties to play LB along with our team leading Captain LB James Lauranitis who is playing his best football ever and that is UNREAL to say after what he has done not missing games over his career from (OSU). Coach on the field. We rotate everyone up front and have 2 Big FA signees Akeem Ayers (LB) from last years SB champs Pats/ Nick Fairley #1 pick DT and both are backups that rotate in. We have a great CB from Miami in Roberson and another big Safety in Mo Alexander who was limited in replacement yesterday in bringing down TE Davis who just signed with Bronco's.

This "D" is not only the best all 11 but its so deep we rest players that could start elsewhere. We even have PS players I see being part of this machine next year after a year of weight training and being a Pro. Its Freaking Scarey. We expect Alec Ogletree LB back before last two regular season games . He hurt his leg while getting another 15 tackle game at Phoenix as we BEAT the Cardinals. Have no idea where to put him when he comes back. #1 pick (Bucs) Mark Barron we picked up last season stepped in for him and he took out big Ben for 4 weeks and has major hits every week on the QB. McCown had to be replaced also two weeks ago in an 18 Hurry game,+Sacks & Hits.

I'm actually worried for lil' Bridgewater . I'm not sure he is as ellusive as Wilson and may get hurt. Does he take hits well? Our Depth and High Level of play in a sophisticated "D" of Greg Williams that the team started learning last season and now seems to have it down right now and each week they raise the bar. Its more than stats with these guys. Check their PFF ratings and compare it to your own players. I know your team will have to give your guys a rest. When they do ? How far of a drop is it in talent? Thats where we beat other teams. I think our "D" scores and gets 2 TO's from your "O" . Will be 3-6 pt game either way. NO INJURIES!!!

Hey guys and gals. I'm really looking forward to this game. The two teams seem very well matched up regarding D/O. Both teams are considering a Run first team, and both have their issues in the pass game.
I'll admit I haven't watched a full Rams game so I don't consider myself an expert. With that said, if I was to watch one, which game would you suggest? Which game best defines your team? Here are some fun stats.

Total D:
Rams 5
Vikes 6

D pts allowed:
Vikes 2
Rams 4

Total O:
Vikes 29
Rams 31

O Pts
Vikes 22
Rams 28

Teams beat ranked total O
Rams:
Hawks 8 W
Skins 26 L
Pitt 12 L
Cards 3 W
Pac 28 L
Browns 11 W
49ers 30 W

Vikes:
49ers 30 L
Lions 15 W
Chargers 1 W
Broncos 21 L
Lions 15 W
KC 13 W
Chi 27 W

Here is what the vikes D is all about if you are into that kind of stuff.

Anyway look forward to some good conversation and a great game Sunday!
Thanks!

Hello and welcome to Rod.

I haven't read through the entire thread yet so I apologize if this has already been asked.

What's your personal opinion of Teddy Bridgewater and if you were to break down his strengths and weaknesses what would they be?

Ya, that's a good question. Teddy, can look great, and go 300 a game or just flat missing guys high. He doesn't have a big arm, plays well with short passes and is pretty good at making the first pass rush miss. The one thing he really does have going for him is he never gets flustered. He really is clutch in the final 2 mins of a game or if we are behind 14-0. The kid is really young yet so I do hope to see him get better and better. If I had to grade him at this point I'd go C+ so far.

Haha ok buddy.
I wasn't talking big or talking bad about anyone.
Read all the comments before you talk.
Especially read the comments about williams being in bounty gate and they are going to injure teddy. The dude keeps saying no injuries but then ironically keeps talking about how teddy could get injured and he is worried for him.
I have pretty much stopped reading his posts.

Strengths - Ultra cool under pressure. Never, ever gets rattled, even when getting pounded. Great short to intermediate-route accuracy, especially on the out routes. Goes through every progression and keeps his eyes downfield. Moves well in the pocket and has deceptive speed when he breaks it. Has an innate ability to lead comebacks late in games.

Weaknesses - Still young and learning, and can be fooled with complicated blitz packages. Has struggled with the deep ball and overthrown several receivers on what should have been easy TD's. Always seems to start slow, before coming on early late in the game. Drops his elbow frequently, causing some of his passes to sail. Has forced some throws to Diggs of late, because he's his most trusted target, a couple of which have resulted in picks.

Having fans of opposing teams on here before and after the game can be a tricky thing. So a reminder to all: no name calling and attack the argument of the post not the one who made it. :grouphug:

Also a couple of those forced throws to diggs were made when there were other recievers wide open.

Who cares? Let guys say what they want to. Ya, bounty gate, ya child abuse.. If ya want to cover those subjects start your own thread. I'm just looking for some good conversation about a team I'm not very familiar with.

Move on, man. This board isn't about grudge matches.

How about telling me how your receivers are going to have any success against our secondary.
