Liking Ty Simpson more & more. Interesting to see him play against some other teams in hostile environments.
I wonder what teams think about his arm strength. Because film-wise the kid is balling. But will he be a guy who teams ding based on the arm. Because some of those deep outs feel like they barely get there. He definitely doesn't rip it deep.

. I'm excited about this draft and to me it feels like things are favoring us greatly as QBs are concerned.
I feel the same way
I wonder too seeing how Allar, Ewers and now Beck to an extent saw their draft stock drop by returning to school. Might see a guy like Sellers hit the draft a year early. Still such a long way to go, but getting more and more exciting as it goes

I believe McVay is a different person and mindset now versus when the Goff/Stafford situation occurred. Call it personal growth, age, having won the SB, married life, parenthood…whatever. I think he’s more patient now QB/offense wise and that’ll impact the post Stafford decision. Beforehand, I’d agree it would be a very good veteran QB he fully trusts and desires. Now, it’s all open.

I can definitely see the growth, and he's a much more methodical coach...... I could see that in preseason.

Mateer is too short for my liking plus not sure on his arm strength too. Need to see more of him.
I prefer taller QBs too, because it seems to me that vision across a lot of snaps is going to be affected by more of your vision being occluded. But also because when you get to a certain height you need to be an outlier to succeed.

We'll see how tall he measures in at. If he's really 6'1" then I'm not too worried about the height. But he's definitely right near that line.

Funny thing about him though is he doesn't have much of a run game, and it seems like he's seeing a ton of two deep, and that's a tough living in the SEC. So compared to some other QBs he's in a rough spot. I mean he got a ton of criticism the past few weeks, and I don't think he played all that poorly. Like the South Carolina game for example he played pretty well. And as mentioned in prior post Oklahoma's sched the rest of the way is brutal as hell. I mean damn. So he probably doesn't finish strong, however the Rams will likely see through some of that stuff and see the quality he offers. Which is why I agree with dieter that he's a likely target for us and good fit.
