What will it take to make the Stafford trade worth it in your opinion?

Yeah I will always be convinced that if we had Kupp in that Super Bowl we would have won that game. He's always been a key cog for this offense. And in particular Goff relied on him. No way the Pats could have kept us down like that with Coop playing a full 60.
I also think if we went back in time and had Stafford in that Super Bowl we would have won it though. Because he's not gonna be as easy to confuse by Belicheat's BS. He's got more experience, a better arm, and a better feel for putting the ball in tight spots.
Going forward either way KUPP remains a big part of our championship aspirations. I think if we have him we will be in good shape. We also need to have a better run game than we've had but that's part of the reason Corbs is going to take over Center for Blythe. And we also need to do better on defense in the playoffs but that's why they drafted a few guys who are going to make us more stout vs the run.
For the record my expectation this season was for a perfect storm like 1999. But Akers' injury was a really big hit. So I still expect us to win it all this year (still like us just as much as any other contender looking at the rosters) even though I do have a bit of a pit in my stomach from losing a guy who is already one of my favorite Rams.
Just be better than Goff, and that's a given.
One more thing that IMO should be pretty clear to Rams fans by now....they've been "all in" or "Super Bowl or bust" since McV arrived in terms of constantly trying to better the roster and be the best, so attaching that moniker to this particular trade and this season is misguided and false.

Stafford needs to play like Stafford. That's what needs to happen for success.

If Stafford just shows up, throws dumb picks and can't hang onto the ball it's a bad trade. We could've had that and kept our picks.
Umm...yeah. Thus the trade seals your fate if Stafford has health issues etc.. As a result it was a risky trade and they made such a risky trade in order to win the SB.

They essentially run blitzed and overloaded those two guys all day. It shut down the run game and pressured Goff on Something like 46% of his drop backs. By comparison Brady was pressured on 12% of his drop backs. I recall those stats.
Right there was the ball game when you considered despite all of that, it was still a 3-3 game in the 4th.

See I don’t think that’s true. I think he needs to elevate his game (which I believe he will) I thought that was the consensus that being on a better team with a better system would elevate his play and allow him to shine?
Huh? If my point was received, then the trade doesn't seal any fate.
He's irrelevant. Its a team game, under the previous QB, 3 playoff seasons, 3 playoff wins. That's not good enough.
