btw, before you guys crown their @sses, remember the Chiefs' defense appears to have gotten better against bad teams: Cardinals, Browns, Broncos, and the Bengals. Rookie Qb, Rookie QB, Journeyman QB, and a choker Bengals QB...

Whew Kansas City!!!....Welcome to the freakin' jungle.

I enjoy these threads, but must say this lot seem extremely arrogant. Granted they have a decent team, but they seem to show us little or no respect. All I'll say is this...........against New Orleans (who you could argue are the best team in the NFL currently) a couple of weeks ago and at 35-14 down the Rams played in a way that NO just couldn't live with. We ripped them apart. Ok we didn't see it through but if we can maintain that standard on Monday night we'll win this.

We match up waaaaay better to the Chiefs than the Saints. I think we get up early compared to them and if there is one things our D does good at it's playing against the pass in passing situations.

I can see them being confident to a point, but they definately have read the manual : "How to be a real prick without even trying hard"...To be honest (risking being excommunicated from ROD), if I had to bet real dollars. I would probably take the Chefs and the points...Their O is just as good and their D might be coming on a little...Having said that......GO RAMS, bludgeon those pieces of dung !!!

Sammy Watkins NOT practicing Friday!?

zero doubt he'll play - they seriously are resting him.
-----------
because if he were injured we'd have heard by now, IMO
----------
He practiced yesterday....
----------
Well, he was out last week with an injury, so isn't it obvious this is a continuation of the same injury?
-----------
Who cares? Won't stop us from scoring
----------
Our offense has slowed when he's out of the game.
------------
Last game Mahomes had 200 yards and 2 TDS in the first half. They went conservative because the Cardinals had no chance. Plus Mahomes took a million hits. Watkins absence means nothing.

Let's talk about the Rams

I'm just writing this to trigger some more the Rams fans that are viewing this..

.....GOFF is a joke that no KC fan is afraid of and that no KC defensive coaches are game planning for. That belongs to your RB!
rofl2.gif

-----------
If we end up beating Goff this week and we will have taken out 3 of the top 5 in the league ON THE ROAD all. Props to them Chiefs for playing the toughest schedule in the NFL.
-----------
So I'll just throw this out there.

One thing I don't worry too much about is our offensive line getting bullied. They may get beat quite a bit because Donald and Suh are daunting, but they are not going to back down.

Erving is a great athlete, Wylie not so much. But they are both nasty fuckers who do not give a shit and will not put up with much shit either. Donald and Suh are going to hit them in the mouth and they will almost certainly hit back.
-----------
I think Mahomes is more disrupted by edge rushers than interior DL...*looks at Fisher*. He's pretty dangerous when he can roll out...

Fowler didnt do much when KC played Jacksonville....
-----------
I really felt that was the key to what the Cardinals did, they kept outside contain so Mahomes could not roll away from pressure. Don't think the Rams have the ability to do the same thing, their strength is up the middle.
----------
Our interior OL may get decimated against the Rams, but at least it won't be because they're all finesse.
------------
The only way teams are going to stop the Chiefs offense is if they keep the ball, win the TOP game and keep Chiefs offense on the sidelines...a Herman Edwards wet dream.

I imagine the Rams will run Gurley 'til his legs fall off and will dare the Chiefs to stop it. Chiefs can't stop the run, they give up 5+ypc (but so do the Rams). Rams should gameplan to control the clock, keep the ball and the Chiefs offense on the sidelines.

I don't think Goff is gonna take 5-7step drop backs all game, not w/ Ford and a healthy Houston salivating across the LOS. That's a recipe of disaster.

I stated this in another thread, but I'd take the under in this game. The Rams are just as bad as the Chiefs are at stopping the run, so Reid needs to feed feed feed feed Kareem Hunt as much as possible.

Final prediction:
Chiefs 23
Rams 20
-----------
Load up to stop the run and make Goff try to win the game?
----------
How do the Rams stop us?

Their run defense is marginally worse than ours, their ILB’s suck, they haven’t been able to stop TE’s all year, Talib is out and Peters is a tire fire.

I see a lot of misdirection by both teams to try to confuse the pass rush.

Bottomline I think our defense can make a few more stops than theirs can, especially with Kupp out.
-----------
Reid has been in his office (or at the buffet) game planning all week, while Sean has been at the spa in Colorado Springs. Toss in a little “win one for the gipper” in Mahomes’ mind and we got this!!!
----------
Looks like all the money in Vegas is coming in on the Rams
----------
Listened to the postgame with Mitch last Sunday and he said that Cardinals defensive players thought it was a lot easier to defend the Chiefs offense without Sammy Watkins.

Unfortunately nobody is scared of Conley or Robinson.
----------
Rams linebackers are so bad. They're getting 2 and 3 guys around the ball carrier and whiffing.

View: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NM7rakasD6o&feature=player_embedded

-----------
If the run defense shows up we can win. If not, it may get ugly. Mahomes has been a dream but he's in his first year and may not have what he needs on the OL to beat tough as nails DL of the Rams.

In short our DL and OL must be bad ass for a win.
-----------
I just hope our depleted interior line has a plan for Aaron Donald. Preferably a plan that works. I trust that Mahomes can scramble his way out of some trouble, but I'd rather he wasn't running for his life all game.

Hopefully Kareem Hunt goes off. That would help a lot.
-----------
After watching him in that Seahawks game it's become obvious that he's a little bitch. Have our guys mouth off and perhaps he'll get himself ejected or suspended. That shit he pulled is no better than the reputation Suh has made for himself.
-----------
Why isn't he fined or suspended for pulling that crap?
----------
Aaron Donald is a complete and total hot head, if you can find a way to frustrate him he'll lose his cool and play horribly. I think it was last year he couldn't get off a dude all game and ended up trying to throw punches and being ejected.

If the Chiefs can devise a plan to frustrate him he becomes his own worse nightmare.
------------
So, we think our 3rd string center is going to stop Donald?
------------
He's going to be doubled all night.

So Fisher has to win against Fowler.
-----------
ANDY....PLEASE KEEP THE POCKET MOVING! ONLY WAY TO KEEP THOSE ANIMALS FAR AWAY FROM 'SHOWTIME'.
------------
I'm actually pretty confident that the Chiefs will win this game by 2 scores. Donald may the defensive MVP but it's basically him, a declining Suh, a bust at OLB in Fowler and an above average safety in Joyner. No one else on their defensive roster is worth mentioning. They are bad. Double Donald every play, chip Fowler with Hunt if needed and Mahomes should have all the time he needs to drop 400+ and 6 TDs.

I'm much more confident in the Chiefs defense stopping the Rams offense with our pass rush. Goff folds like origami under pressure.
-----------
I wanna see Jet sweeps directed Peters way play after play after play.
-----------
I don’t know why, but I feel very confident in this game. I think our guys come out hungry after beating a Cardinals team in a way that left something to be desired offensively. I think the defense is starting to click with an identity built on rushing the passer and playing tight coverage on WRs that makes it difficult for them to be wide open in a short amount of time (before the rush gets home).

I don’t see KC scoring less than 35, and unless we simply cannot keep Gurley from running for 10-15 play drives, I like our chances.
-------------
Have you watched a Rams game this year? They are damn good. I am convinced this will be a tough game. I do think we have the advantage, especially at Quarterback.
-------------
I've watched a few games.. They barely beat Seattle twice, Green Bay, the Broncos, and lost to the Saints. Have you looked at their schedule???
-------------
I'm more confident we win this game than i've ever been.

Matter of fact, i wouldn't be surprised if the Chiefs are in complete control the whole game.

I think our corners matchup well with their receivers. They don't have a game breaking TE. And have they faced a pass rush like ours?

MY biggest concern is Gurley catching passes out of the backfield.
-----------
I’d just shade the FS to Cooks and get physical with Woods/new slot WR. See if Goff can handle the heat that may or may not be coming at him.

Their best chance is to run Gurley 25-30 times imo and have 6+ ypc, chewing clock.
-----------
Really sick of the McVay hype. It’s astonishing that the media says McVay is a better offensive coach than Andy.

MCVAY HAS COPIED ANDY’S PLAYS AFTER HE IMPLEMENTED THEM AND MADE THEM POPULAR

I just want to scream that truth to every damn moron that doesn’t get it.
------------
McVay is on record admitting that they steal plays from the Chiefs. It's a surprise to no one and he's not shy about admitting it.

Fowler didnt do much when KC played Jacksonville....
-----------
Statements like this to support the superiority of the Chiefs is why I think most of these poster haven't got a clue. Jacksonville traded him cause he wasn't being used.

Then they say they have the advantage, especially at QB. I'd say that is closer to a wash.

Stop Gurley.make Goff beat us.
RIGHT. Ask Minnesota how that worked out. These guys are not the sharpest knives in the drawer.

Seems the elevator doesn't go all the way to the top out in Kansas City.

I live in KC and a coworker told me they should have picked a neutral site for the replacement and I had the same response... but it's a home game.

This is true. Idk how the game will end up but reading the chiefs board makes it very clear they have watched like 3 Rams drives this year. Clueless.

These KC fans are crackin me up. I don't look at this game as critical for us (that was the Nawlins game), but by God I am starting to really want this one given all the BS I'm seeing from them not to mention some of the media types.

Here's hoping the Rams' DL and some timely A gap pressures cause KC's OL to effin disintegrate.

Could be. There's a lot of tickets available on stubhub, but that doesn't mean anything. 5:30 is a bad kickoff time for them.

But this is just another sign that they're scared. First they moved their practice to Colorado Springs, and now this.

They got man handled by father time and really aren't beating teams that ain't shit with ease. After us, only the bears are their toughest opponents FFS.

They know if they play the saints again in the playoffs it's over. Hell, after Darnold gets suspended after whatever bone head shit he's going to pull Monday, it might be over anyway. They are the benefit of a shit schedule and they know it.

Lot to unpack here.

I am curious why not one Chiefs fan has figured out that the Rams O-line is far superior to the Chiefs. I understand that they have been cruising along beating trash teams (Cardinals, Browns and Broncos) vs the Rams playing two HOF QBs (Brees and Rodgers) and one great QB in Wilson. Not trying to knock the Chiefs since they have a great team and have been taking care of business but trying to compare how the two team have performed over the last 3 games and saying Rams have been playing inferior to Chiefs. Look at the level of completion. The last good team the Chiefs played was the Patriots and they lost that game. I think this game will looks similar to the Rams v Saints or the Chiefs v Pats with the team making that extra play winning. This should be a fun competitive game that hopefully both team come out of with no injuries.

At least almost all of them have zero respect for our entire team. What a bunch of homers. Seriously, you have a good team chiefs fans we get it. We agree. But I’m looking forward to Goff dropping dimes all night long on them. Hope the chiefs are underestimating the rams as much as their fans are.

It's the "popular" thing that makes me think this poster is in middle school and does not have a date for the prom.
