After reading through the KC comments, I get the feeing that some of these "fans" have been Chiefs fans for a few games jumping on the bandwagon.

No doubt it will be a close game, much like the Packers, Seahawks, and Saints games.
I am confident we win.

Not only that. Imagine a chiefs fan complaining about the media fawning over another team's qb.

What's the over/under of those fuckheads saying Showtime on mnf? I'm gonna say 50.

.
I hate Monday night football announcers. Whitten is like white noise. He puts me to sleep and the play by play guy has so much hyperbole over every fucking play. That showtime mahomes thing made me turn off the game. He is trying so hard to be the guy who starts a nick name or says something memorable. Can't stand him. Oh and don't get me started on Booger. I thought Whitten was captain obvious, but what does Booger add to the show. Why is he sitting in that chair? Can't he stand like all other sideline reporter. Unless he is handicapped in some way, then I take the last part back.

This is about the time of year when Andy Reid's Chief teams start to regress. We'll see if they can avoid it this year.

It does amuse me, though, when opposing fans shit on Goff. It is the quickest way to know those buffoons don't know shit about football. Goff is a top 5 QB in the NFL this year by just about every measure. Feel free to think he's shit; we'll all enjoy watching him throw for 400 yards on your shit defense.

Chiefs will be tough. I don't know if our defense is up to the task. Personally, if I were Wade, I'd put Peters on an island against Watkins and leave Shields on Hill with safety help.

This guy is a complete freaking dick for saying something that rude about someone portraying a child with a physical issue that eventually claimed his life.

I wish this guy the worst.

I thought he was talking about the bad guy from The Mask with Jim Carey. You know the scene where he's wearing the mask and gets all shot up? However, I googled it and yes, this guy is a grade A asshole.

Only thing I know about Kansas is that Dorothy lives there.
Actually, Dorothy is a fictional character and doesn't exist. So, you really don't know "anything" then about Kansas. Zip. Zero!

I can't see it any other way. Peters on Hill would be a disaster IMO. But I think Peters can pretty much keep Watkins in check.

Kelce worries me.

But I have seen Mahomes make bad decisions/throws when he's pressured and contained. I'd like to see an Int or two in this game. Need to contain him though, a la how the Fisher Era Rams handled Russell Wilson.

Unlike the Saints who were able to neutralize the best part of our defense with good Oline play and Drew Brees' quick release, I don't think the Chiefs will have the same ability up front.

Mahomes got sacked a lot against Arizona.

Their o-line might be susceptible - that could be our opening.

I think you're on to something here. In the other thread a lot of Chiefs fans mentioned concerns with their interior O-Line. That's not a good thing for them with our interior D-Line.

This would be a great time for Phillips and the D to pull out a magical game. To be honest I'm actually nervous for the first time this season. Our D has struggled with the run, covering TEs and defending the deep pass and they have elite players in those areas. Our offense is going to have to play an absolutely perfect game if the D can't get a stop or two.

I want to see a blowout so these smug fans and the media can choke on their tears.

I think Peters get an interception this game. He is due.
If I'm play called mg for KC I am running double move routes with pump fakes all night at Peters. He will be itching for a pic and will get burned.
Hill is the most explosive player in the league.
No one is really running with him one on one.
What concerns me is the missed tackles.
