Just like I said before the Saints game: they have reason to be confident. And so do we.

IMO Peters will get burned early and often, then he'll come up "injured" and we'll come up just short in a shootout. Both teams have bad defenses, but ours is worse currently and I don't think playing his old team is going to help Peters.

Hope I'm wrong, but I've been lookin at this game as a loss for a while now on the sched. If we see them in the Super Bowl and have Talib back, then I think it's a different deal. But don't like it given where both teams are right now.

Not seeing it - Peters going to bring 110% in this game, no doubt. He's going to make a few plays.

Here’s my thing with peters, the best game he’s had all year was a game he was fired up for(first game with a new team, against his cousin, in his hometown)

I’m thinking he’s going to be pretty fired up against his old team who wouldn’t pay him, traded him, and to prove himself right about his Mahomes comments.

Hope you're right. But at this point I have zero expectations for Peters other than him being burned. I am at the "hope he starts taking coaching" stage with that gut feeling that he's not going to be long for this roster.

I honestly don't think he gives a F overall. And as always I certainly hope I'm wrong about him.

I'd be pretty confident if I had all those weapons and were playing against a defense that has been average, at best.

And rightfully so, I completely understand how you have no confidence in him, as I don’t either. I would rather shields match up on his as he is a speed guy, the one thing about peters is at least he acknowledged he’s playing like hot garbage and took all the blame on himself. Let’s hope he can turn it around this week.

I honestly believe this will be Peters' best game so far this season. Most players facing their former team seem to rise up to a different level, and I believe it will happen Monday night.

If you look at strength of schedule, we lost to the upstart Saints and they lost to the (kind of) lowly Pats. The wins between us have been expected. Have to think much more fans from LA than Missouri. We win 27 - 21

Pretty cocky for fans of a team that's essentially the Bengals for the past 20-ish years.

If I were them I'd feel pretty confident. I can't see us stopping them, while our offense has been inexplicably stopped and held to FGs at inopportune times.

Sports Media really seems to be stroking on Goff's knob, but I think they are blowing smoke up everybody's ass. What real adversity has he faced? Has he ever came back from a deficit like Mahomes has?

haha, derp.

Let's talk about the Rams

End of the day though, Gurley is going to get his yards and we know that. The Rams are going to score and we know that. I wish we weren't operating with a patchwork interior OL (Donald look SO good yesterday), but I think the game comes down to Mahomes. If he has time, I think he'll carve up their secondary. And if he doesn't, hopefully he's able create some magic outside the pocket like he did in Denver.
---------------
Two keys to this game IMHO:

1. Double and triple team Aaron Donald using Sherman or Ware as an extra blocker to protect Mahomes
2. Do everything we can to key on Gurley, thinking he will get the ball on EVERY offensive play including passing plays

We also need to keep penalties under 6-7 while we sucker Marcus Peters into 2 unsportsmanlike conduct so he gets booted!

-------------
We don't have the horses to handle Donald and everyone knows it. So, have a game plan with a huge amount of planned roll outs and RPO plays.
------------
The Rams are overrated. I'm just sad that the Chiefs won't be the first team to beat them. They've struggled in every game outside of the Chargers when playing anything close to decent competition. Seahawks have come down to the last possession twice. Denver was a 3 point game. Packers had the game, gave up a score, then fumbled the ball on the kickoff return. Minnesota was driving to win and Cousins fumbled. Saints abused and exposed their offense.

The Chiefs are the better offense, better special teams and IMO a much better defense. The Chiefs win convincingly. My only concern is the interior offensive line with injuries but overrall, I trust the Chiefs defense to stop the Rams more than I think the Rams will stop the Chiefs.

Chiefs 52
Rams 35

Nicely done on the creative...
But I don't think Peters will be silenced. Tyreek will make him cry and scream like a girl. Ya feel me?!

Andy on the road against NFC teams:

4-7

-----------
He's actually 57-37 (4-6 with KC) in the regular season on the road against NFC teams and 3-5 in the playoffs.
------------
It's time to break another team.

After we beat the Rams they will spiral into wild-card status.
-----------
Just saw Cooper Kupp tore his ACL - gonzo for the year - meanwhile we have Sammy.

I hope Mahomes throws 6 TDs - all to Sammy Watkins against Marcus Peters - then after he freaks out and talks about eating BBQ with Big Red because we liked the match up.
-----------
This game probably comes down to whose pass rushers are more effective. Mahomes can escape the pocket to the outside against their inside rush which should open up some nice plays. We have to get them in some passing situations to really take advantage of our pass rushers and cause Goff to be a bit inaccurate or indecisive. If they have third and short all day that could really negate our pass rush.

The one thing I don’t want to see at all though is Gurley running free out of the backfield. They don’t utilize the TE and with Kupp our we should be able to really focus on Gurley and not let him beat us on his own.

Gonna be fun when the Chiefs start ****ing with Peters and have him on Tyreek or Sammy to start the game, then give them a break and have Robinson or Conley run vertical routes to make him run 50 yards downfield over and over again...

Then bring back Tyreek and Sammy fresh and burn his tired ass

This guy is a complete freaking dick for saying something that rude about someone portraying a child with a physical issue that eventually claimed his life.

I wish this guy the worst.

I think right now this is fair since Kupp is out. The Chefs OL may be their undoing, though Mahomes is mobile and that could give the front of the D some trouble. This week they have to hold the edges.
If they defend like they did Wilson. Mahomes could get 100 yards rushing
