QB stats that don’t account for dropped passes, blocking failures and other variables out of the QBs control are garbage. It’s media garbage for simple minds.

Goff is top 3 in wins and passing yards since he has been a starter. Which puts him in an elite category.

It’s a team game and today we saw a
Team shit the bed in all three phases.

The offensive talent outside Goff is severely lacking. There isn’t one offensive player on offense that has sniffed the pro bowl besides 2x Pro bowler Goff. It showed.

I thought the loss to the Mullens led Niners was bad, but this was on a different level. I think it's easy to overreact to a single bad loss, but this is definitely troubling. The narrative that the Rams "play down to their competition" seems to be true. I joked that Jets fans were probably wearing paper bags over their heads, but I think now it's the Rams fans who should be wearing one.

Not moving on. Not acceptable.
Same. Idk how they lost. The Jets had the worst offense in the league by a wide margin and a terrible defense in top of it. How? How do you lose to an 0-13 team? How did they find a way to look like a playoff team themselves?

The worst part was the defense. We should have shut those fuckers down and we couldn’t stop them to save our lives. NO TURNOVERS!?!? I don’t get it. I’m so fucking disgusted. Maybe the worst loss I’ve ever seen.

They didn't show up. That's the only explanation. The coaches and the players looked ahead to Seattle and Arizona. Neither side of the ball had good game plans. It was an utter disaster. And if they're going to look ahead, they better fucking deliver against Seattle.

You don't have the second most wins in the league the last 4 seasons with an average qb.

People can blab all they like about their nerd stats.

Yea lets not use the "nerd QB stats".. who needs them right? Touchdowns, turnovers, passer rating, QBR.. You know, the way you evaluate a QBs performance.

Instead lets highlight Goff's solid yardage totals...but leave how how the Rams are ranked #2 in YAC and were #1 in YAC last year.

Or lets highlight his 9 wins this year... but leave out how we have a top 10 rushing attack and the #2 defense in the NFL.

Or highlight his completion % this year, which is the highest in his career... but leave out how Goff is ranked dead last #32 in average depth of target (4.8yds). He completed 3 passes today beyond 10 yards on 34 attempts.

Using a team stat like wins to talk Goff up, but then ignoring all the individual passing stats makes no sense at all. Goff is the definition of an average QB.

Hypothetical: if the Rams lose the next 2 and barely squeak into the playoffs and lose their first game is McVay on the hot seat? I don’t think so but there are already rumblings by lots of so-called fans. I mean Nagy is on the hot seat with Chicago and they are only 2 games worse than us at the moment so its not that far-fetched that fans can turn on a coach quickly. Look at Philly and Pederson. Im sorry Im a half glass empty kinda guy and it sure looks like there is a fatal flaw on this team right now that certain teams can exploit.

One fucking job.... beat a fucking winless team. Epic fail! Can't think of a more embarrassing loss. Rams don't deserve the NFC west playing shit ball.

Even if we lose the next two .. how can a coach that is 33? -0 when leading at the half never had a losing season as a HC in the nfl ever considered and the most successful coach we have had in 10 plus years be considered on the hot seat ... mcvay has his flaws I agree ..but he is the youngest coach in the nfl and still probabl working out his flaws and stuff

I honestly want mcvay here for the next ten years .. because if we do make the stupid decision to fire him some team will snap him and win a lot of football games

Ah, the old YAC reference to only bash the quarterbacks you don't like. Alvin Kamara is clearly carrying Drew Brees, and Aaron Rodgers is so overrated, Devante Adams is one of the greatest receivers in the league; because he leads the league in Yards after catch. You guys are so beyond frustrated you don't even use logic or context anymore. Nobody is denying the fact this dude gets happy feet in the pocket under pressure. But how did he get there? Did he just put the pressure on himself? How about the fact that his line is barely inside the top ten because they are very spotty in pass protection at times? Is that Goff's fault too? Should we only pay attention to the awful interception he had, and not the passes where he threw some guys open?

The entire offense is inconsistent. We can agree Goff doesn't make those better around him but few quarterbacks do. But when guys are dropping catchable balls, and pass protection is inconsistent; guess what you get? Inconsistent play at quarterback. We have been this way since last year, and despite this; we are still finding ways to score. We are dealing with inconsistency from all angles at the moment, and the easiest person to blame is Goff. That's why so many people come to his defense. Because you guys offer anger but zero solutions that make sense. And by the way, those short passes are by design. We don't have the line for routes to develop on a consistent basis. Nor do we have a receiver with the speed to take the top off of a defense.

Goff is above average because he boasts more wins than losses. Goff is above average because although he doesn't post gaudy touchdown numbers, we often rely on his high yardage to put us in the red zone for running plays. Goff is above average because he's been to a Super Bowl. And most of all, Goff is above average because he's outlasted most quarterbacks that came in before or with him. In the even Sean McVay decides to get rid of him, then I'll jump ship. But for now I'm going to trust the head coach, and his guy. And his guy is Goff.

And we keep telling you guys, for as "bad" (and I use that term loosely) as the rams o-line circumstances are, above average/ELITE Qbs find ways to succeed in spite of this. Or at the very least, they dont turn the ball over.

You can call Rodgers, Brees overrated all you want but they arent throwing their teams in holes with idiotic turnovers.

His arm talent is meaningless and O-LIne woes arent an excuse, if he cannot shed his bad decision making.

*See Jameis Winston.

The Rams are 9 and 5. What in the fuck are you talking about?

What's wrong with you people?

The defense just letting the Jets do whatever they wanted during the first drive of each half gets to me. You have a bad QB on a bad team, and you continue to just leave the flat wide open? Like 15 yards wide open? Any QB in the NFL will feast on that.

The line play was terrible. Goff was off. It felt like every time we were getting some momentum there was a back breaking penalty. We straight up weren't prepared.

But then, with the ball, 5 minutes left - plenty of time, down by 3. You chose THEN. On third AND fourth and manageable, to decide to air it out? Crunch time, game within reach, THEN you go for high risk high reward plays?

I lost $200k on the Rams in the sportsbook and my 100% record in survivor as well. Why would they do this to me??

Once again, you can't win as much as the Rams have with an average qb. Sorry if that doesn't sit well with you.
