Well, we would have played it differently if we had all three.
How would we have played it differently? i dont get it.
Well, we would have played it differently if we had all three.
There were quite a few calls by the refs that I said to my wife - if only they called those same penalties when Donald is held the same way.
man that call on higbee for a push in the back was fucking bullshit. i hate the nfl so much.
every time akers made a good run they called it back for a penalty. fucking cocks.
.
Our ILBs are putrid in coverage and AD needs to be more unselfish not trying to make splash plays instead of playing his keys and not going upfield too fast leaving gaping running lanes for running backs to exploit and for the QB to step up in. Run heavy and play action teams that pass heavily to their backs and tight ends in the playoffs will destroy us (Saints, Chiefs, Colts, Bucs, Cards-if Murray is healthy, Seattle). One and done most likely
He should have gone to the left. He made a terrible decision going to the right.OMG! OMG! Terrible.
Webster can't beat the kicker on that?
I still remember the game back in the 90s where Dallas was 13-1 or so and we were 1 and 13 and we went and beat the Cowboys
Shit happens.
I was giving the Dallas Cowboy fan in my office shit about that game for an entire year lol.
Good thing there isn't a Jet fan in my office.
Notes - Blythe was terrible this game. Goff didn't have a chance in this game until McVay finally started calling roll outs and a jet sweep in the second half.
Goff played well for the most part except for that horrible int and the pass that Everett caught after it was tipped and the last pass to Everett.
All really bad passes.
That pass to Everett at the end could easily have been a good play if Goff just threw it a half yard farther.
Yes he should have gone to Kupp on that play but Everett was open and Goff thought for sure he could get it there.
As others have said, his long passes this year have been somewhat off the mark. In 2018, that would have been a TD.
I am not saying Goff is an elite QB but he is better than average.I want so bad for Goff to be an elite QB. But if anyone thinks he is more than an average QB at best should not watch football
Yes I just said it a couple posts ago. Shit happensWas it in 95' that the Cowboys destroyed everybody and won the SB and we beat them pretty handedly?
We still got this but it happens unfortunately.
All you have to do to get McVay to call the play you want, is give them the “look”...of course they have you the long ball, we just needed 4 yards.....4 yardsNo I just have reading comprehension and understand what "But we got the coverage and looks we were looking for there" means. It means we called the correct play versus the defense we were expecting. The QB is who makes the decision on which WR gets the ball FYI.
But keep blaming McVay if it makes you feel better.
I looked at it and Kupp was open right at the first down line but there was a DB coming in fast. Goff would have had to throw it low to get a completion there or it would have been knocked away probably. And if it was thrown low, Kupp may have been a foot short of the first down.So he had everett deep or cupp underneath there.. we don;t know if cupp was open or not however.
Also Akers dropped a perfect pass from Goff in the first half where he could have ran it another 20 yards for a first down inside the 20.Its apparently 1v11 for some people.
I am not saying Goff is an elite QB but he is better than average.
This is an all-time bad loss for the franchise. You have an extra long week to prepare for the worst team in the league thats flying across the entire country to play in your brand new home stadium with a playoff game on the line.... and you get completely smoked...
This team is now the joke of the league. Defend Goff all you want but he is an average to below average QB that reminds me of a deer in headlights.
Ok, Im done venting. Lets move on to the flying cocks... I mean seattle...
Those metrics suck. They don't take into any non statistical factors into play. Not according to any PPF or other sports metric he doesn't...he's presently just below half way @17th, on other lists he's maybe 15th or 16th.....that's about as average as it gets.
