There have been people who have mentioned that having Jones as one of the LBs would not make much of a difference but I vehemently disagree due to one certain point that no one has brought up.

Jones wore the green dot and made sure everyone was in the right spot. I doubt Reeder has done as good a job as making sure everyone is in the right spot. It always seems like there are a few WTF is that person doing covering this person or why the hell are players out of position trying to tackle the RB.

I think Jones would have made a humongous difference in making sure some of these big plays from happening. Not all but I think they would be halved.
Exactly why I mentioned as soon as it happened that it was the dumbest shit this regime has done all off season. Shit still doesn't make sense. Quality starting experience counts. Its the same reason we had a defensive lineman unblocked in the 4th quarter, inexperienced offensive lineman having to play in lieu of our more experienced and savvy starters.

One thing to also vent about.

We were driving to possibly gain control of the game and then Kyren fumbles...
Add that to last week when we were driving for control of the Bear game and had that sack fumble.

Take back two plays, we’re 3-2 and tied for 1st in the NFCW.

Running game was fine aside from Williams' fumble. We got away from it after the two minute drill. And don't blame me for saying the defense sucked; they did. Giving up the long passing plays were back-breaking. As much as Morris got criticized for his scheme, at least he didn't give up the long passing plays.

Yes, the offense was offensive. The defense - for the most part - didn't help matters.

Please don't call me "blind", So; I don't insult you.

Fair enough. Thanks for helping me see more clearly.
-I don’t care about ALL the other BS on both sides after it’s all said & done. MCVAY has got to do BETTER!!

I’m SERIOUSLY PISSED OFF & MCVAY deserves what he has gotten !! I’ll live with it & in FACT I don’t really care The RAMS LOST in the sense of it all.

I don’t know what will come of it,but MCVAY hasn’t got better he has got WORSE!!!

Maybe Raheem is the better HC !! I NEVER BLAMED him. ALWAYS thought he was a GREAT HIRE & way better than that LOSER he replaced!! Yes Troy REEDER was a BIG part of all 3 DC’s & is what he is. A CHEAP alternative who is a try hard slow WG that is less talented than almost every LBer in The NFL.An overachiever ?? Which that is even questionable.

5 games in and I still can’t comprehend the Jones move.
I mean the only way it would make sense would require believing that if he were still a Ram that the D would be worse than it is

Frisco was a road game? GB a road game? What are you talking about?
He is being sarcastic because the two home games might as well have been road games with the fans being mostly made up of the road teams fans.

Well Johna Jackson was actually a JOKE of a FREE AGENT signing & Mcvay wants to PLAY his GAMES which is alright :-( I guess .

He is Probably THE BEST HC in RAMS history & this is a VENT PAGE !!

Why not try to sign a 24 year old that doesn’t have INJURY history in PATRICK QUEEN ? What up with Ernest Jones ?

I understand WE not ME, but at what point does SEAN MCVAY not TRUST his OC ?? Maybe the OC is the problem,he got FIRED from the jets.

I get it &accept it. I’m just SAYING MCVAY’s play calling & going away from Kyren & getting to pass happy has
COST The Rams the last 2 games.

I wonder how happy Kevin Demoff is right now ?? I wonder how long Mcvay will be The Rams HC & how he excepts losing?? I’m KOOL with it. I LOVE watching a Troy Reeder until I don’t.Only because he does go out there & competes & gives The Rams a chance to win !!

Ernest Jones was more of a difference maker & a better MLB.
Why & what happened is also on Mcvay, but he has to be THE REASON!!! The player have preformed well enough to win.

I’m not a gamer, but I have played football before Madden or even Madden ? Anyone that has KNOWS!!

I’M RIGHT just on that part of play calling. Mcvay has to score TD to WIN IT !! The DEFENSE gave him the ball & that is ALL you can ask for!! Maybe you’re not BLIND,but you have to see it ?? That’s ALWAYS been my believe in any football game.

Much maligned defense forces a pick 6 and we still lose because lousy Ram offense only scored 13 measly points.

Glad to see Mr Corum finally get some snaps.

Why aren't he and K Williams ever on the field together?

Are any of the Ram wr's that started the GB game better football players than those two?

There is your culprit. My kids grew up without a LA team to root for, and at this point root for other teams. Trying to win them back but she did a lot of damage.
LMFAO —

We can talk about her all you want.
HISTORY is HISTORY!! Being a RAMS FAN is a choice. If you’re about a CITY !! I SAY MOVE ON & GET OUT of TOWN !!

Whatever it is it was STAN KRONKE has to take ALL THE BLAME for leaving & coming back.

Yes she didn’t pay her players. Ask ED29 about it ? John Shaw was the real 1 ! She gets to much credit (blame),for being CLUELESS!!

IMO - I have a different mindset now more than ever with Steve or whatever his (her son in law) son was. That swimming story is just that. She did bring RAMS FANS

THE GREATEST SHOW on TURF!!

If you want to put her FACE OF BEAUTY up YOU CAN !! What she brought in a MAN’S WORLD was not all that bad at the END of the DAY !!

The 2028 Olympicswill be in LA !! She should be PROUD of that for putting things in STAN’s HANDS !!

As The RAMS WORLD turns we can all look at it as we want to.

TODAY & this VENT page I BLAME SEAN MCVAY !! I went to SOLDIER FIELD ! I watched this last loss on ESPN game tracker.Just to see the pattern & know how he gets away from the RUN is what it is .

The RAMS should be 3-2 going into the bye week with a 3 game win streak.

YES YOUR POST Reply to a SCHEDULE is just CRAZYING because that is on MCVAY !! Do YOUR JOB !! Make The Right Calls !!

He has Kyren Williams, don’t put it on a BANGED UP O’LINE & Matthew Stafford!!! Oh & a BANGED UP WR group.

KYREN WILLIAMS fumbled. Don’t go away from him. The O’LINE is better at RUN BLOCKING right NOW!! The more reason to give him The Ball again.

Move the chains & keep the FlOW!!
I look at Kyren’s TD against Da Bears to say Finally & then saying why did he go away from that.

ONCE AGAIN RUN MF’er !! SO PISSED!!

Last week OH ,so MAD !!! It’s like CHESS !! It’s so SIMPLE!! He has it & THE PLAYERS PLAY for HIM.

I don't think I've seen him break a tackle or make a player miss this season, or move a defender backwards with the ball in his hands. He is the ultimate jag.

Tucker on the other hand, now that's a te.

.
I remember when we signed him and I thought, who the fuck is this guy? And most on here said it's a weird signing and he's not worth it.

In ALL of my RANT it comes to this.
(Posters know me all over the map)

Detroit- take the 3 to start the season.

Chicago- run the ball & go for it on 4th down. You have to have seen it(Mcvay).

Then to start the game & not learn. Run the ball on 3rd down!!
You can still pass on 4th down 2 weeks in a row.Give yourself (ME FIRST MCVAY) your players a chance.

PLEASE?? That’s all !! I make mistakes badly.I did last Sunday. I drank to much, but not enough to try to run onto the field & shake you.Enough to ruin a few people’s time.
I’m sure Bears Fans are happy though & my friend is going to London. So all in all I’m happy.

What a season!! It’s been GREAT in that sense. Sean Mcvay has to figure it out & look himself in the mirror..

MAYBE clean a bunch of DIAPERS this off week & get a good WHIFF of what it SMELLS LIKE !! Look his son in his eyes & say I LOVE YOU MAN !!!

That’s my final VENT of the YEAR !!
I’ll enjoy watching how this RAMS TEAM GROWS !!! Will get to see how SEAN MCVAY grows as a HC!!

He always says & talks a good game. Now more than EVER is what I’m going to ENJOY !!

WHAT KIND of MAN is SEAN MCVAY when he is at the BIGy adversity as a COACH IN HIS LIFE !!

It’s not easy. Ask Tomlinson last night. He has done it for a lot of YEARS.

We as RAM FANS can only ask for so much. My hope is that SEAN MCVAY figures it out & is The Rams HC for YEARS to come.

My guess is he is a loser & quiter & a ME FIRST GUY !!

TRUTH & HISTORY will be TOLD !!
We can all go back and blame Georgia, but she brought The Rams a super in Georgia. Mcvay brought us 1 in THE RAMS HOUSE in LA !!

I honestly worry about that too @So Ram I really hope McVay doesn't "burn out" or something lame like that if the season doesn't get better. Kinda lame that we have to worry about him returning every year.

As far as that game goes.... I still cannot believe how stupid our secondary looked on that first TD. Keystone cops at their finest.

The Rams can't continue to play these tight games every week and expect to win. They pulled one out versus the shitters, and had a chance to win every other game (except Arizona), but simply came up short. There are just too many deficiencies on this team to win close games. McVay is probably making some poor decisions because he is trying too hard to will his team to victory. Same with Stafford. Nothing comes easy for these Rams, while other teams make it look easy against us.

The offense is woefully missing two starting linemen. The rookies (I consider Bruss a rookie), are making mental mistakes and might get Stafford killed, while Dotson seems like he returned to "average" right after getting paid. And the Rams receivers are simply subpar without Kupp and Puka. I personally think McVay has to stop leaning on certain players too much. Asking these guys to play 100% of the snaps can't be helping with injuries. Look at Whittington now.

Many players on defense are playing hard, especially the young D-line, but look at the wasted opportunities... Verse and Fiske are leading the entire team in pressures, but missing sacks (some for stupid penalties). Bryant Young and Kobie Turner are playing OK, but the interior never gets any penetration and teams run wild at times. The linebackers just plain suck. And the secondary has been inconsistent. The result of this is that the defense is always giving up big plays. It's like playing Whack-A-Mole... who's gonna get burned next?

I give Stafford a lot of credit. Sadly, it seems like he is back on the Lions.

I will continue to watch my Rams, however, and hope for the best and that this team can be competitive for the remainder of the season. At worst, I hope to see some young guys make names for themselves. I will never stop watching.

Ok, took my overnight sleep before I came in to vent. Have to calm down so I don't just pointlessly rant. Having thought about everything this is my opinion on the current state of affairs.

Offense -
we lost due to the offense. I know, "THE DEFENSE FUCKING SUCKS!" is what everyone wants to yell but we'll get to that next. But the last two games we lost due to absolutely worst time possible turnovers. Both games were in our grasp and we fumbled and threw interceptions instead. Plus, we left points on the field by not taking field goals. I felt like that turnover on downs was due to McVay not trusting the defense. And I get it, but he needs to start having a little more faith in the defense imo. In the end, we would be 3-2 right now... hell maybe even 4-1... if the offense takes care of the ball and takes the points given.

Defense -
yes, the defense is not respectable. The back 7 have been a disaster. Reeder and Rozeboom tackle people like the other player just got back from a lubed up P Diddy party. Absolutely horrendous ILB'er play. And the secondary has been equally embarrassing most of the season.
BUT WAIT, there have been glimmers of hope. Our pass rush gets better every week and was all over the QB the last two games. Our secondary showed improvement (not counting the deep bomb to Reed in triple coverage). No one is going to fear Wallace and McCullough but both showed more discipline and awareness yesterday than the players they replaced. And then there's D Will, who knew his injury would be such a disaster for us. His coverage skills are so much better than everyone else we have.

My hope and glass half full take, the bye week gives McVay time to do his magic and right the ship. Speights and Hummel get a chance. Kupp and maybe a few others come back. With just a slightly tighter secondary, which will happen with DWill back and hopefully JJ3 soon, that pass rush will start creating havoc and turnovers. Get the offense to calm the fuck down and maybe we can salvage the season. It's going to be an epic comeback if they do. I know, drink some more kool aid... it's all I can do until the final nail is placed in the coffin.

.

I don't understand why people are blaming the defense. A lot of 3 and outs today, a pick 6, stopped the packers offense from scoring points in the 4th qtr when the Rams really needed them to make stops.

The offense gets an L. Although it's hard to blame them when all their best players are on the sideline.

.
The defense still gave up over 130 yards on the ground. They were good on pass plays for the most part except for 2 breakdowns in the secondary.

But giving up over 130 yards on the ground is unacceptable. The other team keeps the ball away from the offense when that happens.

This is a more serious problem than the Rams org will admit. You're SUPPOSED to enjoy a home field advantage. It boosts your team's morale. It can create issues for opposing offenses to call plays. On average, teams playing at home win more.
Kronke needs to fix this, as soon as possible. Require these out-of-state non-fan PSL holders (nee "investors") to personally attend a minimum of 4 home games, or forfeit their PSL's. Resell them on an application-only basis, to actual fans who can prove that they are local & are Rams supporters.
imho, this is a more serious problem than our ILB's. Than our RZ issues. Than anything. The Rams need to fix this, somehow.

Yeah - like it was The DEFENSES FAULT - Vanna can you by someone a CLUE ?

You talkin' to me Pat Sajak? I didn't cast blame.

I simply hate bad tackling.
There were some Business decision tackles (looking at you Wallace) and lack of old school form tackling (looking at you Verse/Young). I don't know why guys are too cool to wrap someone up. That Pick 6 was pretty fucking lucky. Should have been a Safety and Rams getting ball back. Pressures are great but this "almost got there" shit is getting old.

Plenty of Blame to go around for this loss and plenty of praise to go around for miraculously having a chance to win it at the end.

Stafford was off target. That's the most bad balls I've seen him throw.
Our back-up tight can't fight for a yard, I'm pretty sure my wife or daughter can tackle him in open space.
McVay left points on the table again in a game where points are a premium. Should have been a field goal to win or tie after our our defense got that stop.
Our Special teams missed a field goal and extra point. And we missed a critical two point conversion.

Defense had some bad and some good. Offense had some bad and some good.'

I can handle a loss. Especially when the team shows some grit, and fights to the end like this.
But missed tackles make me want to turn the game off.

The good news is, if this team can gel, cut down on the mistakes, cut out the sloppy fucking football coming out of the bye, we might get back to a team that dictates instead of reacts.

But if we keep trotting out guys that can't open field form tackle, WIN or LOSE, I might need to start spending my Sunday's doing some red drum fishing here at the dock.. Because that shit, for some reason -- makes me lose my shit -- and my wife wife and kids weren't impressed with the way I behaved yesterday watching this game.

Go Rams.

Green Bay's defense gave up over 130 yards on the ground, the Rams defense didnt.
Rams had more 1st downs, more time of possession and more total yards in the game.
