5 games in and I still can’t comprehend the Jones move.
I mean the only way it would make sense would require believing that if he were still a Ram that the D would be worse than it is
I felt when it comes to defense one guy cannot make that big a difference. I think I was wrong. Well, maybe two guys. Donald and Jones. They were the heart and soul of the defense. Now they're gone and we what we have.

The offense has help coming after the bye. There is no one coming to save the defense. What we see is what we have. A defense that struggles to keep marginal offenses from scoring 24 points.

Lots of blame in different areas for the losses.

Turnovers at the worse time have been key the last two weeks.

Levi South. Lambeau West. Any other teams want to get in on the act?
This has been mentioned before, but even with LA being a destination vacation area (Weather/ Beach / Disneyland / Hollywood / Beverly Hills) - - most of these die-hard fans likely live in LA area.

Here'd be my guess at the Opponent Sofi Take-Over %

Sept. 2249ers

Oct. 6Packers

I'm probably wrong on the Vikings. That's a 4 day weekend in LA. Could be 75-80%. takeover.

Watching the game my daughter asked me why the stands were full of green if it was a home game for the Rams
Tell her, this:

LA is a great place to visit for a game, great weather, great stadium, etc. and if you lived in Green Bay, Wisc you'd like to get out every opportunity you get.

Also tell her Green Bay has been around for over 100 years in the same town......there may be GB fans over 100 years old.....

The only thing I have to say I just can't watch this anymore. When facing the firing squad give me the blindfold.

Lol.
You told me to stop talking about it.
Then you reiterate my point.

For the reasons you mention, the Rams remaining home games will likely be outnumbered with opponent fans.

It is what it is.

Fuck the cheesers... and their assistants who will not call PI against them and also provide the magical replay assist to make sure that they don't have to use their challenge or even a timeout.

Fuck Off

Season is over a quarter into it. We should all be disappointed in this team - from top to bottom.
It's called a rebuilding year.
You may have heard of that before.

Jeez.

We have ranked dead last in the league every week of the season per PFF.
Our run defense is nothing to brag about either..

I do see our offensive run ability looking really kick ass.
Pass pro always comes second to the run game on rebuilding or injured offensive lines.

I can't stomach going through this whole thread. There are many notes I could write down about this game, but, the bottom line and what I kept thinking during and after the game is this: With either Kupp or Puka in this game we win. Period. All other issues aside. 1 playmaker on offense who can get open and create and we score on that last drive and likely at least 1 trip to the endzone. Throwing to Kupp instead of Parkinson is a massive difference. Massive.

As long as one of our WR playmakers plays in a game, we stand a chance. Without either, we will struggle in every game.

Disagree, need to watch and see if there is any growth. Facing a firing squad, give me liberty or give me death.

Those bad ball placements were 2 to 3 feet from the actual gain. Even if replay assist couldn't prove the carrier got to line of gain, it still should have corrected an obvious 1 yard spotting error.

This is a game of "fucking inches", not a game of "fucking feet". The refs sucked yesterday.

This is a more serious problem than the Rams org will admit. You're SUPPOSED to enjoy a home field advantage. ...
Kronke needs to fix this, as soon as possible. ... Resell them on an application-only basis, to actual fans who can prove that they are local & are Rams supporters.
imho, this is a more serious problem than our ILB's. Than our RZ issues. Than anything. The Rams need to fix this, somehow.
This is not an easy fix. Blame the stripper for it. I was beyond pissed as a season ticket holder at Anaheim when the Rams moved, and now I'm happy they're back but wonder what the vibe at games would look like today if we had the Rams in LA during GSoT days.

Years of winning and showing commitment gives you Dodgers and Lakers excitement. LA is a tourist destination, but these successful franchises make it work.

It will take time.

On the plus side, we had more yards and possession time. Kick the first quarter FG, get the XPs on the two TDs and it is a tie game.

Stafford seemed off in his throwing. A couple of wobblers - not the trademark tight spirals. Bad misses on some short passes. Arm/hand issue or was he just getting jumpy at the collapsing pockets?

OL was not bad in most cases, but Stafford mostly had to get the ball out quickly. A couple of throw-aways instead of sacks really would have helped.

Stafford and Parkinson not in synch and that is really hurting.

Corum proved he is a viable option to Williams at RB. I think they should load split a bit more. Hope Whittington isn't going to be out too long.

The D was inconsistent but not horrible. What's with the hockey-style body check by BY in the end zone? Do they teach that now instead of tackling? Great end result on the play though!

Hunter Long is not a ghost. He caught two passes. Played more snaps than Davis Allen.

Fair enough. Thanks for helping me see more clearly.
-I don’t care about ALL the other BS on both sides after it’s all said & done. MCVAY has got to do BETTER!!

I’m SERIOUSLY PISSED OFF & MCVAY deserves what he has gotten !! I’ll live with it & in FACT I don’t really care The RAMS LOST in the sense of it all.

I don’t know what will come of it,but MCVAY hasn’t got better he has got WORSE!!!

Maybe Raheem is the better HC !! I NEVER BLAMED him. ALWAYS thought he was a GREAT HIRE & way better than that LOSER he replaced!! Yes Troy REEDER was a BIG part of all 3 DC’s & is what he is. A CHEAP alternative who is a try hard slow WG that is less talented than almost every LBer in The NFL.An overachiever ?? Which that is even questionable.

Continue—
BS isn't BS excuse making when it is part of the reality of the situation.
If you were coaching, say, a high school basketball team and you had three 5' 8" starters, one 5' 10" starter and one 6' 2" starter and you were playing a team that averaged 6' 4", well, you could do all sorts of clever scheming and plays, traps etc, but, you're going lose most of the time.
Is that excuse making or reality? A mix of both?
There are situations that are hard to overcome.

As for Morris who knows what kind of HC he will end up being. His defense is like a sieve so far.
