Well if the 9ers and Rams are the top teams dueling for him right now neither of them have a 2023 1st round pick. So it's possible the Panthers take the best offer and maybe it's lower than they expected. That happens. Also a 2nd round pick for an offensive skill player who has been a disappointment on the injury side seems appropriate to me. Maybe it means something else thrown in too, like a player or midround pick, but it's possible they move him for a 2nd IMO.

I'd be trying to get Moton from them though. I've always respected his game and we could use him.

I’d imagine the Panthers either want picks or young players. Jourdan mentioned that there are some players in the last year of their contracts as being tradeable but that hardly makes sense because they would be free agents at seasons end.

Send them TuTu and Akers.

Brian Burns tweeted a picture of a Ram on his Twitter.

I noticed. He's also posted other pictures. He likely wants out of Carolina. I hope we do whatever it takes to get Burns here; he's only twenty-four (and won't turn twenty-five until late April) and is already a dominant edge rusher.

If we're looking at running backs, I'd go for D'Ernest Johnson. Would cost a lot less than Hunt or CMC, and he's shown out when he's gotten carries.

Offensive line is important as well, so Oli Udoh (a guy I loved in the draft process) of the Vikings (kudos to @Corbin for pointing him out) shouldn't cost too much either.

I tried to find something on this topic. Unfortunately, all I could find was something more disturbing.

From April 2022
Kelly Stafford and her NFL player husband Matthew Stafford are struggling with a big question: When is the right time for Matthew to get a vasectomy?

On her podcast, The Morning After with Kelly Stafford, the influencer spoke to her athlete husband about their plans for him to get a vasectomy in order to ensure that they will not have more children.

Kelly explained why her husband, NFL player Matthew Stafford, is concerned about getting a vasectomy.
Kelly joked, “I’m trying to get him snipped during The Masters but the a**hole won’t find a doctor.”
Unless you’re Mack… and if you follow the post op instructions (I of course did not) it’s a few tender days and you’re good.

I got two great stories and weeks of pain from mine… cuz I r idiot…

I also don't think Bradley Chubb is out of the question.
Gregory is coming back Denver has no picks after wussel trade and Akers does hold value Chubb is also in his contract year. He is ferocious in his own right in order I'd go:

Burns
Chubb
Allen
Sweat

Obviously I have an affinity for Burns but any of them and I'm smiling for AD.

I would trade our entire draft Akers and tutu

For

Burns
Erving
CMC

Not comp picks though lolol

As good as McCaffery is I can’t imagine a team giving up multiple #1 picks! High price for a RB with injury issues (At least in my humble opinion!).
He's in his prime but he's at that age where lots of RBs start to drop off....

Looking at you, TGIII

Denver needs a back and also some draft picks. How about:

Cam Akers
Terrell Lewis
Robert Rochelle
2023 3rd Rounder

for

Bradley Chubb
Dalton Risner

KC just reorged Kelce’s contract, freeing up $3.455M

Speculation is that it’s for OBJ

McVay is probably beating the table for McCaffrey though. No doubt in my mind.
I don’t necessarily disagree with you but what leads you to believe that?

I think McV kind of likes the RB by committee and matchups thing. Does he want another bell cow like Gurley?

I don’t appreciate Brian Burns trolling us like that… that would be too good to be true

They had 200k in space before the rework. It was needed just to add a player to the PS. Not saying they won't go for OBJ but this was needed to have some cap space.

Yep.. sounds like it. Sucks big time if true.
Smart play though by Odell. KC or Buffalo are the best bets for chasing another ring since he's probably looking at a short term contract due to teams not trusting the knee. It's the one advantage he has in his situation due to that btw. The choice. So make it well and there's no way in hell I'd choose the Rams if I'm him.

I think McVay wants explosiveness in the attack first off. This means someone who can be schemed into a spot with the ball and has a chance to make the magic happen. We have Kupp and nobody in that regard, as Robinson is more of a possession type, Tutu can't get on the field, Van is hurt and isn't the most explosive guy anyway. Akers lost his speed and his mojo. Henderson is completely non-elusive in space. I mean it goes on and on. Day one CMC is a guy who can score on a screen.

Secondly he wants speed and elusiveness in space from his backs. He wants guys who can catch passes and be used in the backfield or out wide. He just doesn't know how to draft them and neither does Snead.

And btw I would love to be wrong because as mentioned I don't want to trade for him. I'd be after Moton over everyone from that roster.

He would be too good to be true, that's one reason I'm not seeing it, the other reason is the CAP expense as he carries a $16.M charge in 2023. It could be done with a few sacrifices of our own, so I might propose this as a trade :

DT D'Shawn Robinson
TE Bryson Hopkins
WR Tutu Atwell
S Taylor Rapp
a 2023 6'th round pick
our 2024 2'nd round pick

Next year (2023) we can try to give Burns a new CAP friendly contract.
Trade or cut Floyd to improve our overall CAP situation.
