Silver lining I suppose. All though, it won't matter and Mason is going to run all over us if we keep playing like we have been.

The Rams took a page from the Browns book when they defended the Lions by clogging up the middle of the field and forcing Goff to throw more to the outside. But the Rams don’t have the Browns Linebackers.

They can do the same against the Niners, but it feels like it’s time to give Speights a shot.

Maybe, the Whiners pass blocking has not been great across the board but they are still road graders in the run game. I hope Speights gets the call though.

Shanahan offenses (old and current) can plug and play just about anyone into their RB spot and get production. Doesn't really matter who the player is for success. Of course, McCaffrey takes it to a whole other level but the offense is going to get it's rushing yards more often than not no matter who's in the backfield. It does take a bit of pressure off of pass defense though as Mason isn't the crazy threat McCaffrey is. Defenses will still have to man up and take on that oline unfortunately
His Dad did the same thing with the Broncos. I assume that’s what you meant by old.

Year after year a new running back… and still always getting 1000yd seasons out of them.

He was great at scheming a running game.

They should do that, clog the middle and play one deep safety. Force Purdy to throw deep and push their o line into uncomfortable pass block situations. They already struggle there, why not exploit it?

Especially with Aiyuk still knocking the rust off

Dweebo out several weeks reportedly. So other teams can have injuries too?

Guaranteed, this is where Aiyuk knocks the rust off and has his break out game. I’ve seen it too many times against the Rams. Just like last week.

I would think with Deebo and McCaffrey out Shanahan will want to run Jordan Mason at least 25 times. With our defense I fear he's primed for 150 yards. Our guys do not tackle well and he's a big guy who runs downhill. Purdy's still got Kittle and Aiyuk.

On offense, while we get Jackson back and Havenstein will be playing his second game, Stafford has to do without Kupp and Puka. His two favorite targets. He's got Robinson and Johnson. With Tutu and Whittington. With line missing their starting center and left guard. Against guys like Bosa and Floyd.

I don't see how we can win with such a talent disadvantage. Especially on defense. If the 49ers are held under 30 points color me surprised. And we don't have the horses to get into a shoot out.

Let’s just get back to decent play. Last week was a failure for just about everyone not named Verse, Karty, Evans.

Don't ever call that shit Levi South, fuck that team
Over half The Stadium does at least once a year. It’s a disgrace to see & don’t know if The Rams have even one a game in the regular season against Ratboy .

I know that NFC Championship game was really Sweet though & winning a Superbowl there was more than just icing.

-wish The Rams beat Detroit last season. Rams would have won 2 times in a row at Levi !

Maybe all the whiner's injuries are the start of their super bowl hang over.

It sucks because it looks like the Rams are going through the same thing without having been to the super bowl last season. This would have been a golden opportunity if the Rams had avoided major injuries. I'm still hopeful but definitely not feeling confident at this point.
