Stafford made his case today and it was awesome.

1 last dragon to slay - the shitters.

I don't agree that McVay got too conservative, players need to hold on to the ball. Akers was really bad today at ball security.

I was in there this morning, scolding you for wanting to face our kryptonite in the NFCC. Lol.

This is the worst possible scenario to punch our Super bowl ticket. But i digress, tonight is about celebration my man.
It's really fitting that we finish vs the 9ers. At home. Just a perfect script for a sendoff to a Super Bowl.

Oh and IMO those fumbles ensure Cam Akers plays PISSED vs our rival. We need him at his best and I think he will be.

We have to kill the dragon! First, let’s eat, drink and be merry…for tomorrow may be our last! *flexes

As many have said, The Stafford trade will be justified if he wins a Superbowl.

He has the pieces around him and much more so than our 2018 team.

Kupp in his prime. OBJ back and hell bent on proving the doubters, Cam back knocking people the F out.

I will admit, I am starting to believe in Stafford. His performance vs the Cardinals was lights out. Showed the poise and focus needed to compete in big pressure games.

Can he play this way in 3 straight games? I sure hope so. We are about to find out. He has the ability, the coaching and surrounding cast.

In all fairness it takes the entire team and coaching staff to perform. But the trade will always be measured against Super Bowl wins.
I respect your opinion but completely disagree.

Stafford is worth it if he shows up in big games and gives the Rams a chance to win. I think this whole question is now in past tense.

Was Jim Kelly not a franchise QB because the Bills lost those 4 straight SBs?

I don’t think so!

The Bengals would be the easier between them and the Chiefs.

I will say it right now. The last 2 games showed me how good the D could be when Raheem plays them aggressively. If he plays them that way against the Niners and simply does not let up, the Rams will win that game going away as long as they play a clean game. Jimmy G's throwing range looks to be between 15 - 20 yds. Getting up on them early and do not soften up on the run D forcing them to make Jimmy beat them is the best way to win the game.

If Morris simply calls an aggressive game next week and in the Super Bowl the Rams will get their Lombardi. This game was probably Morris' best game in terms of scheme and playcalling. His D was huge in this win.

yeah... they determined the ball had started moving before he was down by contact....

i know the rams were arguing that the whistle blew and everyone stopped.
I don't understand the rule, whatever it is. No way Akers lost possession before his head hit the ground. Even if the ball moved a centimeter a microsecond before that.

NFL rules make no sense. Takes forever to complete a catch but you can lose possession in a flash? While on the ground?

If the ball comes loose at all before the runner is down, it's a fumble. He's lost possession as soon as the ball is loose. It was a fumble.

Hmmmm anybody know what happened to the original Stafford trade thread? Search provides no results
I was thinking the same thing. So next years draft (this year) 1st round pick is like #31. Not much given up.
