Prime Gurley ain't walking through that door and I honestly don't know how you fix this team. That's all I have to say. I just don't know

Absolute dogshit performance across all 3 phases tonight.

Still not losing hope though, shit games like this is a good sink or swim opportunity to iron out issues, let’s see if McVay is aware enough to realize he is his own worst enemy rn with those impatient tendencies. Ball control offenses are the best way to neutralize this team.

It would be nice if our head coach would learn that ball control offense is also a great way to neutralize a teams like the 9ers, especially with a limited QB like JG. Keep possession and give them fewer opportunities and sooner or later they will have to start throwing the ball more, which they are not as good at.

Of course, with Morris, it won't make a difference because he'll have Jalen singled up on their WR4 while trying to cover Samuel and Kittle with players that are clearly not up to the task.

Absolutely a fucking disgrace. McVay needs to STFU and stop saying he needs to do better and actually DO BETTER. Start running the goddamn ball. Damn! This loss sucks.

No kidding. It's really beginning to look to me like all that talk last year about having to do better really was just bullshit and he really did blame the former QB for everything. So now he got his guy, and we are seeing some of the same problems rear their ugly head, and 10 games in we still have the same record as we did last year and with some losses that look remarkably, frighteningly like losses last year. The loss to the Titans had many of the same characteristics as the Dolphins loss did last year, and this loss to the 9ers, as far as offense goes, look just like either of our two losses against them last year (while looking far worse on the D side thanks to an awful hire at DC).

The time for scapegoating QB1 is over, Sean. You got your new guy. This is on you now. Stop the bullshit about having to do better, and show us something, because *you* are the common thread in 5 straight losses to our most hated rival, and your coaching has been lousy in every single one.

Give it time Jrry. He will soon be even with W/L ratio. He has been compromised bottomline, and he is to stubborn to fix it.
Nonsense.
He's never beaten a physical team with comparable talent to the Rams. Even those with much lesser talent, he often fails to beat (see: NYG recently). Until I see something different out of him, I suspect he never will beat a physical team with roughly similar talent. You need to do that to win a Super Bowl. Some other team can go get "blessed" by his coaching as far as I am concerned. I am not saying replace him with just anybody. But I definitely think some "lesser" minds would be much better positioned to take a team to a Super Bowl.

I don't think the Rams have ever rallied from a 2 score deficit on his watch, either. But I could be wrong on that. Maybe some fact-checkers can chime in. If I am right... again.... finesse...
We've rallied from many two-score deficits, including the NFC Championship Game against New Orleans (10-point deficit). And we've beaten many physical teams with comparable talent. For whatever reason, Kyle Shanahan has his number. At the end of the day, we have a top 5 HC in the NFL. We are 7-3. Enjoy it. Because it wasn't long ago that we were suffering through a decade of zero winning seasons.

Coming into this game Stafford was number one in tds, yards and passer rating so let's pump the brakes on his demise.

It's obvious that the niners play calling was better. Kyle was patient and kept doing what the defense was letting him do. That's on the rams coaches.

Lot of blame to go around but this one is mostly on the coaches.
And in the last two games he's been straight shit and put us in a huge hole in the 1st quarter. Lets not act like that's not reality. Pretty sure most people here are laying the blame on everybody but a few players top to bottom.

Still don’t have an ILB that can stuff the run , and won’t next year either with no draft picks.
You’d have to be pretty optimistic to think two weeks to prepare for GB will make a difference. Rodgers will shred this defenseless bunch.
Plus McVay knows exactly what the 49ers will do , and had no answers. Stafford is playing like he’s still a Lion and AD has been invisible. There’s no switch that’s going on with this bunch. Probably make a wild card appearance.
Then watch Whitworth , Miller and OBJ move on. Plus watch 31 other teams get better in the draft.
Very concerning to say the least.
You can get quality at ILB, FB, and a power RB in the middle rounds and that is what they need.

We did in the NFC championship, and we came back from a four score deficit in Buffalo only to lose the game at the end, but at least we came back. But haven't since then, and McVay seems to lose his composure lately once we face adversity.

I don't get how we couldn't stop their run. The man in motion cleared the running lane like 90% of the time. Von Miller disrupted it a few times but we couldn't get off the field and then the pick six was like watching the Titans game all over again.

The fake FG I thought was a bad idea because down 21-7, you had to figure we likely wouldn't shut them out in the second half.

When we were down 24-7 I was shaking my head.

Yes and I'm getting damn tired of hearing it....
I swear every 49er is our trap game. Its too damn consistent at that… I am really worried here. Because we play all teams like they are all trap games.

The Chunky Soup is the problem. He is getting free cases of the stuff and the high sodium is impacting his decision making.

So we still lost...

Partial credit I supopse.
Yeah, just saying his offense adjusted and if I remember correctly, he credited it to the fact that despite being down they didn't get away from the run game and it started opening up the passing game. Go figure.

Packers are going to get into our asses too.

Unfortunately, that seems to be the case.

At this point, the Rams have to prove they can win because they put up two games where they shit the bed and in the same damn way.

If the Rams just focus on "execution", we gonna get dog walked for the rest of the season... and I'm generally a positive person and sometimes an outright pollyanna.

But this team... dammit... they killing me

This defense is built to play with a lead. It excels in getting after the passer. It can't exchange blows with the more physical fronts. Which is fine. But if the offense struggles it's going to be tough to win.

.

The qb lost the last 4 games against the whiners they said.

A new qb will ensure the Rams beat the whiners they said.

The defense sucks arse against the whiners we said.

New qb, same shit.

Why is it that when the Rams play the whiners all the defensive players turn into unco trash?

And yay, another pick 6 against these Fuckwits.

.

So maybe it isn't the QB.

Doesn't mean the move for Stafford wasn't the right move.

Pretty sure Stafford had nothing to do with our run defense that allowed them to run the ball more than 40 times...

By two scores, I should have said two TDs. That is what I meant. I don't consider 10-0 to be an overly big hole. Now, 10-0 is certainly not a tiny deficit. And it's not easy to battle back from. Full marks for coming back from it. I certainly remember that game well. It is probably the Rams game I look back on most fondly, discounting the 1999 Super Bowl win. But the psychological challenge to come back from 14-0 is much larger than 10-0, and is IMO the score point at which things start to "look bleak", hence why I had that in mind as an arbitrary query point.

Yeah the first int was ridiculous. One week after admitting he needed to take the shorter passes he bombs away in the first few plays. Not sure if mcvay wanted to make a splash play with obj but should have never been called or thrown.

2nd pick all on higbee.

The biggest fail that stood out for me was play calling by mcvay and Morris. Jimmy g is not the better qb but Kyle put him in better situations and their defense while lacking the rams star power was put in better situations
