I don't disagree at all. The buck stops with McVay. He hired Morris, and part of the reason he went with Staley the year before is so that he could become immersed in the defense. And if he's letting Morris pull him in the wrong direction, it's up to him to pull himself back. If he can't see that our players are not being used properly, it's as much his fault as it is Raheem's.

I think part of his problem is that he projects his offensive tendencies onto other teams instead of looking at them as who they are. And he's not honest about himself either. He needs to brush up on his Sun Tzu.

I had such high hopes for Tavon Austin and when that blew up, I am now against any player who is even smaller than Tavon Austin.

McVay got figured out by dominant physical, smash-mouth football teams and he has no answers to offense and defense against teams like the Titans, Niners and even Colts (even though Rams barely won that game).

It's time for McVay to either give the reigns to some OC and hire a decent DC and ST coach. Or else, McVay must go.

McVay should try letting O'Connell call the plays. McVay could scream at him over the phones to stop running the ball and throw deep.

I remember a lot of the narrative going into that from talking heads was the Rams would be bullied by the big bad Cowboys and the opposite happened. Cowboys were demoralized could see it in their faces.

Based on his ball placement issues the last few games, I really think it was a back issue from when he took a helmet to his side early in the Tennessee game.

Hopefully, getting rested up will really help.

After sleeping on it, how embarrassing was that performance? I looked at Von and OBJ last night and wondered if they regretted coming to LA? I don't have regular TV anymore and so I watch a lot of YouTube videos for entertainment and found myself avoiding any mention of the NFL or the Rams. I hate the 49ers so much and they exposed us last night in that shitty stadium, which shows having a premier stadium won't win any games for you. Right now it looks bleak. Fucking dark as a bottomless pit.

Both Von and OBJ were on the post game presser and both were THRILLED to be here and they had this almost indiscernible twinkle in their eyes about things to come... especially Von Miller.

Honestly, I was feeling pretty down about this team's prospects, but especially Von, but both of them were expressing an excitement of things they've seen, but are for the future.

It was the brightest spot of the night for me. McVay's perfunctory performance at the post game presser, which only really conveyed is frustration didn't really help, but OBJ and Von being not just excited to be here, but excited for what's to come really helped. It was so genuine that it almost felt out of place.

I'd still avoid the "football shows" this week because one week, we're dominating and can't be stopped, in the next we're in some "contender/pretender" segment... complete waste of time, imho.

I’ve said this before… one reason Goff was successful was if the first read was there on a play action timing route, he’d nail it because he didn’t have to think or process and he had the mechanics down.

I don’t care if Stafford doesn’t love PA, it needs to get mixed in.
