I don't think Tavon can pass a physical right now.
I liked Gaines and I liked the depth, but, hate to give up the pick.Gaines was our 4th quarter lol , this is a great trade for us and if it doesn't work out no big loss
Who says he's that hurt? McVay says it's a hammy, so when the trainers say so. What if they were holding him out so he doesn't get hurt, and fail a physical?
It's ok.You sorry SUMBICHES!

Or call the Jets for their 2nd rounder. They ain't got no receiversAlways an option to trade Tavon end of the year try and get that second back
Watkins is absolutely worth a 2nd rounder and getting a 6th for Gaines is a good deal as he's just as injury prone if not more than Watkins. Gaines and his lisfranc injury will always be just as much a question mark as anybody. When healthy Watkins is absolutely a #1 WR we desperately need all we've heard is criticism that our WR group wasn't good enough. Yes it's a risk to pay Watkins after this year but a 2nd round pick isn't a sure thing either. We upgraded our offense and didn't hurt our defense as Gaines was looking like the #4 or #5 CB on the depth chart. Our CB room is fine our WR had questions. Well worth the trade IMO.Did I say he wasn't? You give up a 2nd round pick for an injury prone WR on a contract year. Big risk. If it works out and he stays healthy that's great. But now you have to pay him and hope he remains healthy for the remainder of his playing career.
