Wow my favorite player from that draft. He finally made it to us. Did not believe it when I first saw it. Losing that 2nd rounder does hurt some, but like many say the draft is no guarantee.

For the record a 4.43 at the combine and didn't run it at his proday letting the combine number stand.

When they said Brian Quick's name over Cordy Glenn or Sammy Watkins you could have knocked me over with a feather.
 
When he is healthy Watkins is probably a top 10 receiver with immense talent. With him being in a contract year and being traded I imagine he's going to have a big chip on his shoulder. Even if he has a mediocre or injury - prone year that means we can sign him to an incentive- based "prove it" deal. I'm a huge fan of this trade! And Robert Woods is the PERFECT guy for him to lean on and learn this offense from. I can't wait to see how McVay uses all these receivers.

Great trade for the Rams.... it's basically a 1 year try out for Sammy....if things work out you sign him to a cap friendly deal...

as far as cutting the ties on Tavon... I mean the only way to make a trade work is that we'd have to send cash so that we'd be paying for part of his contract to his new team... releasing him now doesn't work..

I guess maybe if you keep Tavon now, this trade may put Pharoe on the hot seat a bit...

I'd hate to move Pharoe though just to keep Tavon for one more year....

Judging by 6 pages of a thread that was just posted I take it this Sammy Watkins is good to go especially if healthy. I do know this was Woods cohort in Buffalo and with these two now stretching the field and having a QB like Goff should be a good combination.

They aren't happy at all .... they are adamant they are tanking this year
From what I read there they have 2 1st 2nds 2 thirds
