Curious…Trade what??That's enough to cover Danielle Hunter's roster bonus if we traded for him, ... or we could apply that money towards his free agent status should he be released, although no guarantee he would pick the Rams as a free agent.

Ouch! But we had to save money to sign Tutu to his extension
Good lord that is some three dimensional chess thinking. The Rams have a 3rd & 4th this year or a 4th this year and a 2nd next year. The real benefit will be clearing about $19M in cap space. The Rams immediately extend Hunter reducing his cap this year. Sign OBJ to a $1M + incentives this year as a place holder to negotiate a regular contract next year.
If Les can pull off a trade for Hunter, sign OBJ after getting Robinson, keeping Noteboom, Allen and Shelton on the OL, and Gay that would be an outstanding off season. Even without Hunter if they can grab a legit edge this draft this team once they restructure AD's contract it would be a masterful job as GM. Keeping the SB window wide open.
I'm not helping by posting, but every time I see this headline... I die a little... cry a little...
Song lyrics for the youth...
There are advantages to the airheads...Dallas is like a hot chick at the bar. She gets a lot of attention but once you get up the nerve to talk to her you quickly realize she’s such an airhead the attraction quickly goes away.
You don't trade premium picks and pay a huge roster bonus for even a premium player. That's why we got nothing for Woods. The Rams have a 3rd & 4th this year or a 4th this year and a 2nd next year. Amari Cooper is heathy, younger and more expensive yet he went for a 5th rounder to Cleveland. So getting a 6th for Woods all things considered seems right. Doesn't mean everyone will like the trade but the compensation fits. You don't trade premium picks and pay a huge roster bonus for even a premium player. That's why we got nothing for Woods.
