I personally believe if Goff indeed gets the call today, he’s gonna come out playing with a burr up his ass, that is, he’s going to be...extra? fired up, I know I would if I’d been subjected to the past two weeksFor some, Goff is a huge personal and emotional disappointment, who makes too many embarrassing mistakes for them to tolerate.
I don’t see anyone saying it but Goff is trying to do too much, because he’s the offense now.
As the Rams transition through the dead money of Cooks and Gurley, he has to carry more of the load.
Nor have they replaced the fresh Sullivan of ‘17 & ‘18 or Saffold.
It’s going to take more than 4 poor performances in 2020 for me....play within yourself, 16.
How about we just end it agreeing with, Lets just kick the Seahawks ass today!!!!Let me get out of this conversation with my dignity. I really am not convicted either way lol
Do you know what...I completely missed that bit, and I totally apologise for it.Context absolutely matters, which is ironic considering you quoted me completely out of context.
Playing a good game under the circumstances (I actually said great but you left that out) is not the same thing as playing a good game.
There are no points given for circumstances, no participation trophies.
To win today's game will require a very good, possibly great overall game. Not an "under the circumstances" effort.
Last week was not a good game for a playoff caliber winning QB. It wasnt.
Goff is 7-0 in games where the defense gave up 7 points or less, they would have won that game had he played too
How about we agree on this, GO RAMS!!Do you know what...I completely missed that bit, and I totally apologise for it.
I skimmed your post, zeroed in on the bit I posted, and missed the above.
I'm 100% down with that. How about we agree on this, GO RAMS!!
Let's just kick some ass today!!!

I'm not completely writing him off but am certainly growing tired of his play. He's got all the arm talent in the world, at this point it's all a head game.I understand the criticism on Goff but what I dont understand is how quickly people are writing him off. We’ve gone to the playoff 3 of the last 4 years? I thought Wolford played well enough last game but how many 3 and outs did the opposing offense have with their backup QB? Our defense controlled that game. Youre not going to get that with Russell Wilson. For me personally, I cant be that confident in Wolford based on what Ive seen. It will ultimately depend on the health of Goff. If Wolford starts, I hope he becomes the next Nick Foles.
Get suited up, I heard they're trying to call you!I could start today and the Rams win!!!!! So it doesn’t matter who starts cause our guys are showing up fired up!

What frustrated me is he's got a large contract, and is supposed to be our Franchise guy and yet you have no idea from game to game what Goff we're getting.
Although as mentioned, lack of deep threat and an inconsistent line don't help him.

And I understand that frustration. We all want him to be more consistent. But I’m just saying in discussion of Goff vs Wolford against the Seahawks, wanting Wolford to start seems misplaced. Goff still gives us the best chance to win IMO. Hes still played well enough to help the rams into the playoffs and superbowl.I'm not completely writing him off but am certainly growing tired of his play.
