After watching Donald break tackles to get after Wilson I sure wish they would have tried him at running back in that situation.
I’ve been screaming for a mini fridge package for weeks.

Hell, I would line up Greg Gaines and bulldoze it in. Let’s see if Adams wants some of that.

Well, I just hope the entire team comes out with a fire under their arse. Does anyone know if Akers is still out or playing this week?
Would love to have him get some catches, too. We need to be able to run and control the game and not put too much pressure on Wolford.

Let’s go Wolf man. You up.
Clap for the Wolfman
He gon' rate your record high
(As long as you got the curves, baby, I got the angles)
Clap for the Wolfman
You gon' dig him 'til the day you die
(It's all according to how your boogaloo situation stands, you understand?)

You gotta admit that he threw it pretty well after he hurt it.

I mentioned this yesterday and the only response was that he threw the pick right to the CB. Some people get too emotional to think rationally. The pick was way before he hurt his thumb, and yes he did throw the ball pretty well after injuring his thumb. I was impressed, because I cant even hold a bottle of water after dislocating my thumb. Unfortunately I dislocate them way to often for someone that doesnt compete in any sports.

don't forget the 2 9er games that we lost too. Yeah they're a sub .500 team.
I come into every season thinking the Rams can win it all. So does every other team. That's the point of their journeys, put a ring on that finger. Sure some guys just play for the money but those teams never go anywhere. Passion is what drives teams to greatness, and right now I'm not seeing much passion out of the Rams.
You are not a player. Looking for an objective prediction. Of course a player plans on winning every game, but as an observer you should be able to objectively judge a team and their potential.

Nobody listed the Rams as a SB favorite, and only a small percentage thought they were a solid playoff team.

Now that doesn't change the fact that they should have beat the Jets and at least won the 2nd Niner game, but the season has played out towards the upper end of most predictions.

They have holes, one is a deep threat WR, the other is a center that doesn't get overpowered, and probably another interior pass rusher.

Honestly, I'm intrigued by PS QB Bryce Perkins. Definitely a dual threat QB. I cannot remember the last QB we had that could tuck the ball and run effectively.

I can remember quite a few that frequently ran for their lives, but not any that were effective.

Well first off, I don't hate any Rams players. I've been through all the QBs hitting a wall. Ferragamo, Everett, Warner, Bulger, Bradford and now Goff. It happens to the best.

That being said, Goff has to play better but has led the team to a winning record 4 of his 5 seasons. Kinda hard to argue with that. Imo

I’d give more credit to McVay than Goff on those winning seasons. Football is won by coaches.

Coaches can hold players back just as much as they can make them succeed.

look at Goff under fisher compared to the next year under McVay.

The coach was right next to him leaning in so Goff could see what he was talking about on his play pad and Goff was staring off up at the sky and then out in front of him. Didnt even acknowledge his coach was right there. Wasnt even looking at what his coach was talking about. You cant get anymore obvious that you aren't paying attention, and the guys I was watching the game with mentioned it as well.
Yeah, I noticed that and it pissed me off as well. If one of my developers is in my office (or on Zoom these days), and I'm telling him what's what, I'd fire him if he was looking off in the distance not listening.

didnt seem like goff was neccesarily the difference in the game

however... we were up 6-3 and driving.. almost to the red zone. If we dont turnover the ball ther and get a TD... then thats 13-3 and teh game is a lot different.

the int was on 1st or 2nd down also it was not on 3rd down.
I didnt say it was 3rd down (it was 1st down btw) and yes, it likely cost 3 points. (being they couldnt score TD all game seems only reasonable). So it wasnt the difference in the game. Well, I guess one could point out that if they get 3, even if the Hawks score 3, the Rams would have been up 9-6 at the half vs tied.
And we all know what happens when the Rams lead at halftime....

This pretty much puts an end to what was once a promising season. They may make the playoffs and even win if we play the east. Losing 3 games to losing teams really hurt. But let's be honest, this team is done. Not being negative just being realistic.

Look as of late the quarterback play has been sub par course it can get worse but even an average game from Wolford is an improvement from what we have gotten lately.
That being said we not only need Wolford to be a game manager or better we are down running backs. I mean I wasn't expecting much from this team after what I've seen recently beside the defense coming to play every game which in itself can win you a game or two but I am intrigued a bit to see Wolford and hopefully see what Jones can do.
The circumstances are what they are so got to get interested in seeing what we have and if I'm mcvay it's balls to the wall screw a simpler playbook. I open it all up nothing to lose. Might relieve some pressure on coach and maybe the offense in general.
Fingers crossed guys!!

Much as I've been on him he still gave them the best chance to win.

And especially against the cardinals he plays really well against them but who knows. We lost to the jets right let's expect the unexpected. All we can is hope... Hope for the best prepare for the worst!

yeah i agree he most likely does and he usually plays well against the cardinals.

but not going to lie - this team doesnt feel like its going anywhere status quo, especially on offense.

Im kind of up for seeing something different - even if its an epic fail.
