Any details? I don’t see anything out there yet besides the years.

Yowzer. They better hope the cap rebounds after this year and keeps going up. But idk, $40 mil a year. That’s where we were headed for QB contracts since the nflpa is stupid and didn’t want to cap qb contracts in next cba. Chiefs will just be sweating the cap increase every year and praying he doesn’t have a significant injury in the front half of that contract.

With Mahomes now averaging around 40 million per year how good does Jared Goff's contract look now? I mean many on here groused that paying him around 23 - 24 mill per year was way too much.
Turns out that Demoff and crew signed him just in time. With Mahomes' deal setting a new ceiling there is no way we could get Jared to sign for 40-45% less.

Great job FO!!

Holy shit. I'm sorry, but there's no way Mahomes lives up to that contract - especially since the Chiefs likely won't be able to re-sign key players with this contract.
Oh he will. He's the greatest talent at the position, and has won a SB in year 2! He just needs one SB, which they got a legit chance this upcoming season.

Gonna be wild once Kyler beats the money & years when the times come for him :explode:
Before or after the season ending injuries?
"Bobby Bonilla is paid another $1.19 million by the Mets on July 1st, and hasn't played baseball since 2001"

"Hold my beer" ~ Patrick Mahomes

WTF? Seriously? lol

I'm a Pirates fan so remember him going to the Mets! That's a long ass time ago! haha

His last payment of more than 1 million dollars is in 2035-ish....no shit! lol

The amount may be tied to the salary cap which would be a first.

Say 20% of the cap. If next year’s cap is $200M, he would get $40M but if the cap was $300M five years from now, he would get $60M.
