Kolone can play center, did it all preseason and is the reason he's on the roster.
Rams will have two OG's on the IR now...Logan Bruss & Tremayne Anchrum. Both started preseason as our reserve #1 swing OG & our reserve #2 swing OG. Jeremiah Kolone was not involved as a swing OG in TC & preseason just center. Other OG's utilized @ OG in TC & preseason were LT Alaric Jackson (now the starting RG until further notice) & PS reserve Chandler Brewer. Rookie AJ Arcuri did see some TC & preseason snaps @ OG too, But much fewer in number compared to the OL'er mentioned above.

Injured Center Brian Allen still remains on the MR53 @ this time out due to a knee injury again......no time has been given as to his return. Highly probable that when OC Brian Allen has returned to health Carberry will need to decide if he is going to make a switch or not ......continue with Shelton @ OC or move him back to RG thus inserting Jackson back to be the game-day Reserve LT.

Will Kolone remain as the Reserve OC now since the #1 & #2 Reserve OG's are on the IR?

Will Oday Aboushi have caught up on the enormous McVay playbook to be the new Gameday Reserve Swing OG?

Will large young Alaric Jackson continue to improve the interior OL performance enough to remain the starting RG? PFF grades from the Rams Week 2 win over Atlanta. The right side of the OL- {RG Alaric Jackson} {71.1 RT Rob Havenstein 70.3}

Same with Coleman Shelton do you remove an outstanding playing center & reinsert him back @ RG?

I will predict that either OT AJ Arcuri or Swing OG Chandler Brewer will be elevated later this week.

Can someone find out if it's Alaric or A.J. Jackson? The announcers referred to him as Alaric Jackson, which quite frankly I believe distinguishes him because they are a ton of A.J.'s around. Come on Mr. Jackson, go with Alaric like Thomas Woodrow Wilson went with Woodrow because there were a ton of Thomas Wilson's.

If Aboushi is healthy then he may be the best option. He’s a former starter. Brewer not Arcuri have been and Kolone is backup material. If they need him at center then they will be in trouble.

At least the Cardinals aren’t a pass rushing juggernaut. But the game after that against the Niners may be a problem.

He said in an interview that he goes by Aleric, after someone called him AJ.

So Aleric it is. Unless AJ is being used like AD. Which in that case AJ Jackson would be redundant. It’s like saying AD Donald.

“Hill (groin) is awaiting the results of an MRI test on what Rams coach Sean McVay called a “pretty good groin injury” Monday, Cameron DaSilva of USA Today reports”

Troy Hill, Cobie Durant uncertain for Week 3 after suffering injuries vs. Falcons (RamsWire)

“The already-shorthanded Los Angeles Rams could be even thinner in Week 3. Three players suffered injuries on Sunday against the Falcons: Tremayne Anchrum Jr. broke his ankle, Troy Hill injured his groin and Cobie Durant suffered a hamstring strain.”

McVay let it be known that AJ had not taken any snaps in practice @ OG before the Falcon game. I found that odd. Then who did?

HC McVay calls Alaric Jackson {AJ}

The injuries are really piling up early for this Rams squad. It will be a real test. Let's see how they respond.

The OL is continuing to add up injuries Carberry has already lost two of his Reserve OG's {Logan Bruss/ Tremayne Anchrum} to the IR for the rest of this season. In addition, he lost his starting RG Coleman Shelton to start @ OC due to the injury to his starting OC Brian Allen injury.

The interior OL has long been a heavy discussion in here @ ROD with many having concerns before the injuries started to accumulate. McVay elected to go with only 8 OL'ers this season (mostly all OT's and a few centers) when previously he has gone with larger OL units. McVay has lost 3 interior OL'ers since preseason began to injury & has 2 new OL'ers playing in new positions. Currently, McVay has ONLY 2 Reserve OL'ers Bobby Evans & Jeremiah Kolone.

The secondary is a new concern.......has had injuries again this season too. DC Morris lost Rookie DB Quentin Lake in TC & Jalen Ramsey. Ramsey has returned Lake is still out. DB Dan Isom is also on the IR. Last Sunday starting DB Troy Hill was injured & his backup Rookie Decobie Durant got injured too.

I would expect that Outside corner Robert Rochell will start outside & Rookie Derion Kendrick will be active to replace Durant this upcoming week. DB David Long shifting to the Nickle.

I am pretty sure Winston had the back fractures last week already and played through, but I am with the posts above, it seems a curious move to play with that significant of an injury.

It is no big deal… it’s just tiny cracks along the bones encompassing the spinal cord. And… it’s ONLY football. No real risk.

CGI,
It depends where on the bone the fracture is located. Frequently in football injuries it's the transverse process that is fractured which is not in the vicinity of the spinal cord.
If it was the vertebra itself that was fractured that would be a potentially more serious issue.
