I love how im always an Instant HATER when I defend that Kupp and Stafford Leave is stupid and is going to Bite us in the ASS!

Its not way off on comparison! Kupp is our Saquon in terms of Popularity and our Star, Stafford was Right there behind Kupp in Popularity . Kupp is still a #1 or High 2 on 90% of the teams. Puka is Good as he is because how Kupp molded him and him being on the field with him helped a lot .Mcvay is the coach he is because of Kupp. Kupp and Stafford would turn the Giants or Raiders into major contenders alone!

Ive seen this play out before over the years of building a team that are strong and we traded away our Stars for Salary cap or got tired of them and used bridge players. Didnt work out well for us! We fell into 1-6 wins territory for YEARS! We were 1 Fucking Play from NFC championship and they want to Gut it. Its STUPID!

The foundation is there but Kupp is the Morale Piece and hes the glue for this team. Stafford is the Best Qb for this to work for the next few years.

JimmyG will not get it done, and neither will A-rod. They both had really Talented team in 9ers and GB respectively and still couldnt do it.

If Deacon Jones, Eric Dickerson, Kurt Warner, Isaac Bruce, Torry Holt, Orlando Pace, and Steven Jackson can play in different uniforms, Stafford and Kupp can, too.

Does it suck to lose players? Yes, but we're the Rams. We'll survive this, as we've survived so many other players leaving. Remember, we were supposed to be terrible after we lost AD to retirement - and look how we thrived.

Play hardball for their 1st. If the Raiders bid, play them against the Raiders.

I've heard the Rams have said a 1st is a minimum for Stafford, and I hope they stick to that.

I have not been keeping up with this Stafford saga. I read a couple of the last pages.

MY two sense is that the Rams need to keep him for another Super Bowl run for the next couple of years.

Agree that Nabors is an excellent young receiver, although he isn’t the same type of player as Puka.

But Kupp is clearly not the same player he was and even Stafford looked on the downward slope at times in 2024.

It’s going to take more than two past their best veterans to turn the Giants into playoff candidates overnight.

If the goal is to use the picks, this year, then sure.

You know what the Diffrence between all of them except Warner and Jones at the time? We were not a winning team then and werent for YEARS before or After they weregone!

Steven Jackson Last season with Rams was 7-8
Pace/Holt last season 2-14
Bruce 3-13
Dickerson 6-9

Kupp/Stafford 10-7 1 play away for NFC Championship it dont make any sense. I would understand if we had another 5-12 season like 22.
This feels like another Warner situation.

Especially if they threw in a premium defensive weapon in a position of need (ILB, CB, NT).

I really want Stafford next season because we have a SB capable team with the current roster, but we aren't "all-in" desperate to get MS another SB next season.

I'm just as excited about the possibility of opening a multiple-year SB window. We could theoretically have that with Stafford, but the odds of him lasting until 40 at his current form aren't very good (and more $$ he requires, the less we'll have to protect him).

Kupp is a 1000 yard reciever, but is asked to block 90% of the game. Hes in Fullback Mode, and that is the problem. No other Wr we get is going to match his blocking skills. Who else do we got for WR? JW? Sorry hes not Kupp even on a decline. Its gonna be Puka and Puka only. Better hope and Pray Higs has a Career year and we play a lot of 12 personell!

Giants were only 2 pts per game worse than us in points allowed. If they had a QB like Stafford, they would have easy been 10 wins. They are better than us in the passing Def and even with us in Rushing Def.
