Confused by the posters stating this was all trash for a 142 posts while looking at the real chance the Raiders traded for him, but wouldn't give the Rams what they were asking.

I’m glad that was a part of the consideration. If it was just about the money then he goes to the highest bidder.

The whole thing is seeming like it was a bluff.

just negotiating. Everything else was media speculating on every tidbit of news, telling us what it must mean. Just like all media. If our news was required to just report facts and we didn't have it include opinions our whole world would not be so tense.

I didn't even know they worked it out with Stafford. So many pages I don't read them all. I just figured it out when someone mentioned it in passing a few pages back.

Likely based on them agreeing to a deal. Sounds like they couldn't agree with the Rams and Stafford knew this so that's why he's back. And it's only 1 year so if he wants to do this again next year who knows. I think the chances of us drafting a QB this year just escalated.

yes, i think this year they will be thinking about the next guy.. and due to money logistics it will be via the draft.
