Enough to have a championship team.Among other things this is the last piece in a total admission of failure for the Rams front office in giving big contracts to Gurley, Cooks, and Goff. How much dead cap have we now eaten?
I'm looking forward to your next Mock with Stafford, budTrue lol. If I do stop rooting for this team, I'm not going to root against them or hope for misery. I like y'all and don't want you to suffer. But man, this trade is a kick in the nuts. I thought the worst thing this offseason could bring was the Gators keep their moron of a DC. But nope, it got much, much worse.
So they're paying Stafford 19.5 mill and Goff hits the cap for 22.5?The Los Angles Rams are paying it.
Nah I'm with you man. I like stafford over Goff but I don't like the deal right now. Disappointment is fair. But people cursing the Rams and talking about wanting Mcvay, a coach with one of the highest win percentages in league history through 4 years, to be fired is ridiculous. If the Rams had traded Goff to make a Watson trade happen, I'd be here celebrating right now. I'd have wished Goff well and celebrated. But this is such a disappointingly bad deal.
It will be interesting to see how the offense looks next season, b/c McVay had to at times dial down the offense due to Goff's limitations and low football IQ.
Not even close.Ummm.....Wow. I believe we just made the worst deal in NFL, if not pro sports, history.
Now I question McSnead all the way.

Good thing this trade give us Cap room.
Oh, wait a minute...
Goff didn’t give up 30 points.
The disgust in McVay's face with Goff in our game at Seattle was so obvious. When Goff slid down a half a yard short of the first down marker he looked like he was ready to blow a gasket. The way Goff carried himself like a zombie on the field drove McVay bonkers he wanted a change so bad and now he got it so it's up to him now to deliver.
And I thought it would at least be mid season before they gave out one of their ridiculous extensions. This one may be coming by the end of next weekOnly way it happens is if the Rams restructure Stafford's deal. And the only way that happens is if the Rams give Stafford guaranteed money to restructure his deal.
Actually they probably aren't. Most people views Goff like jimmy g and think that we upgraded.I'm afraid that the rest of our division is laughing their asses off at us right now!
Yeah, maybe I spoke too soon about the cap savings. Is stafford playing for free? Doesn't his salary count?
.
