That is so disappointing. This whole season has been a mess. I don’t want to see John Wolford throw those shitty passes over the heads of our receivers ever again.

Because a douchebag took a dirty shot at his legs? No.
He hasn’t finished 3 seasons in his career. Does he get a different scale than other players because we like him?

Well... he is when his QB throws an errant high pass and the DB dives into his lower leg.
As a WR that comes with the job, right?

Fans have been all over other players labeling them as injury prone for the same kind of on their job injuries that come from being rolled up on or other freak injuries they have no control over.

The list I have found is 7 separate injuries long for Kupp. In 2018 he had two stints where he missed games.

I love me some Kupp, I want to see what other Rams fans think. Does he get a pass from this label because we like him? So far the only 2 replies says yes.

Of course he's "injury prone" he has the ball every other play. Anyone would be. Dude gets absolutely beat up.

I'm not a fan of the term "injury prone." All players are prone to injury. Some may tolerate minor injuries more than others, but some injuries are universal.

Kupp gets targeted a lot. That makes him more likely to get hit, and more susceptible to injury.

I didn't give him a pass because I like him I did because a douchebag went low on him when he was unprotected. So this particular injury doesn't move the needle for me one way or another from before the injury.

I don't know why everyone is focused on Wolford's errant pass. He's not very good, and this is expected.

What about the "douchebag" who went low and rolled when there was literally NO REASON to do this? This has bothered me about the NFL for quite a long time. We protect the QB (as we should), and have only recently added the defenseless rules (that are actually too extreme sometimes), but yet they let something like this slide?

I think if the league put in a rule that if a player is injured as a result of a tackle deemed "Unnecessary", the culprit is suspended for as long as the player is unavailable. I bet you see an immediate behavior change. Kinda like the defenseless receiver rule.

Isn't he defenseless? Yes.
Was the tackle around the head/neck? No. But it was UNNECESSARY.
Does it damage the NFL product on the field? Yes. The triple crown winner and on everyone's top 3 WRs in the game list? You freaking better believe the league is better with him on the field.

So why don't they ever do something about it?

I have the same problem with late hits on pileups. Dudes weighing high 200s or into the 300s running full speed and head first into piles after the guy in on the ground? BS BS BS BS.

So why don't they ever do something about it?

I'm frustrated. This season was over anyway, but adding this pet peeve of mine as the nail in the coffin absolutely infuriates me.

Get better soon, Coop. Come back next season with a chip on your shoulder. (figuratively speaking. we need your shoulders in perfect working order)...

It wasn't a good pass from Wolford... but yeah im not on the blaming wolford when kupp has only finished 2 seasons in his career.

Who knows why some guys get injured more than others - seems to be a lot of luck involved.

Adam Schefter said it is a high ankle sprain. He also said that someone familiar with the prognosis said it "doesn't sound good".

So, what does that mean... Kupp will be back for the playoffs?

Playoffs!?!

Yeah - Tutu becomes an All-Pro given the chance. Van Jefferson had 3 catches & a TD.
I still think Bobby Tree’s got a raw deal.
Allen Robinson is a red zone threat. I just wish Sean Mcvay would have worked on getting the Rams into the Red Zone instead of practicing first & goal.

Wolford freaking said he passed him into the injury. He already had a ankle injury Kupp was playing through before that.Increasing the swelling & maybe damaging it badly.

Real SAD thing is he has fought through major Knee Damage!! He in turn has become a potential HOF WR,,but as in Tory Holt it is hard to get in. This injury probably keeps him out of the HOF.
—What a GREAT WR Cooper Kupp has been for The Rams. We all know what happens when he is injured in the playoffs.

Cutch should get a good look if we are looking on the bright side of it. Ben Sko might get moved around more? Maybe even give J. Harris some reps?

Then of course The Rams famous 2nd rd draft pick. The Rams won the Superbowl, but Les Snead & Company have lost The Last 2 April’s.. Making The Rams April Fools.
Ernest Jones has been solid. UDRFA is what The Rams have been built on & A’ Jackson has been a nice find. Don’t know about his injury?

He gets a pass because he is the best damn receiver in the league.
