How did you meet him?
He lives 20 minutes away from me. Clifton Park, NY. I live in Guilderland plus I ran into him at a sports bar. Great young man, so again i am biased, however, I think he has grown leaps & bounds and although I understand where @Corbin is coming from, IMO, Jake has been more right then wrong, especially lately.

Jake wants to be recognized as an equal to the ordinary sports talking heads, albeit without the college or professional journalistic training. Kinda like the folks over at TST.

Don't get me wrong, I've listened to Jake from his very start with stuttering Blaine and their bad electronics and he's come a long way since then. Still an amateur though.

He was really good in the Phillips defense. Interesting to see the Rams sign him. Probably at the SS position. Fuller at free?

IMO JJ was a Pleasant signing in the same way Shelton getting re-signed is IMO on Wendell. Playing quarters on the back end isn't easy, especially for inexperienced players. I would be very surprised if the Rams didn't run an aggressive style quarters zone much like Staley did.

Maybe Raheem got smart and is letting Aubrey coach up the secondary and re-structure the base scheme. IMO it could be his ticket to a HC job. Then McVay can promote Pleasant to DC.

LMAO - such the smart azz & Raheem Morris HATER .

I’ll give you credit for being consistent.

I will give you some what of credit ? Then again it was Wade Phillips who played the quarters defense that I think you’re talking about. Talib & Peters come to mind & it was a zone defense & Peters couldn’t guard anyone, but Talib would be up at the line on press coverage at times.
—The Rams went to The Superbowl though. Then again what do I know .I did notice stuff like that though whatever defense that was.

Have to add what Goff will never apologize for and that’s Robey-Coleman. I really liked him & Durant is filling that kind of a Role.He is a ball hawk.

My concerns with Durant at CB is his open field tackling. Aubrey has worked with these guys(cbs) & there tackling is an emphasis
this season. Cobie Durant is TOUGH & will make TACKLES.When he is covered up it really allows him to play more free.

I kept an eye on him in Free Agency and was really hoping we would be able to bring him back.

When we lost him I was really disappointed. I don't remember anyone bagging on him on the boards. Kind of felt like a steal in the draft.

Only 27 years old. There is potentially half his career left in him.

I wonder why he didn't get picked up earlier?
