"Just give me the lazy Bosa...." ~ @MerlinPanthers are not trading Burns. IMO, I would love Quinn first, but most likely, if the Rams make a move I believe it will be Melvin Ingram.

Melvin Ingram, but it might be better to wait for a younger vet that might get cut in the next few weeks. There are always a few solid vets that lose out to a number game.Is there anybody out there?
Naw... the Buckeyes of THE Ohio State University., ya knuckle draggin' Wolverine fan! ~ @ArkyRamsFanHow about all the other shit he has gotten wrong? Not rocket science to have 20 misses then promote your one hit.
100%! It's amazing how someone gets a few things right after how many years and all of a sudden they are a savant of the LA Rams?
Again, I ask, what makes you think the Rams play Tampa Two?IMO this could signal a shift in scheme away from their customary Tampa Two zone scheme to more of a Quarters scheme as used by Staley. In that scheme the role of the FS is increased and his ability to read correctly is necessary due to his multiple coverage options. What this also means is if played correctly the coverage is man within a zone concept. It's why you don't want a rookie on the back end. If played correctly it would put an end to the uber soft coverages Morris normally plays. This also could be the result of Pleasant's influence. Remember Pleasant's last year with the Rams was as Staley's DB coach.
West Coast, Tampa Two is what Morris favors since his days in Tampa. But his version is uber soft. He concedes first downs to protect against the big play and often fails at that. It's why he often had Rapp with his limited speed in deep coverage as has been noted by others on this board. It's why Kendricks was deep when he gave his half hearted tackle attempt on Deebo. Morris often doesn't seem to care about the concept of scheme fit.
I love John Johnson but my concern is that the Rams may not have liked the guys they have in camp. I thought Quentin Lake and Russ Yeast were playing well and Fuller was almost assured to start. Perhaps not. Or maybe it was the depth behind those guys. All we know for sure is that Johnson will be starting.
Meh. You can like who you have and still see an opportunity for improvement - especially with a young unit.I love John Johnson but my concern is that the Rams may not have liked the guys they have in camp. Sounds like a depth signing with possibility to start down the road. My guess, we got him on a cheap deal, he can help teach the kids and we weren't that impressed with the competition for 4th safety.
I expect Fuller and Yeast will still be your starters week 1 with Lake as dime-backer.
I think that's a fair assumption. I'd put my guess at 65/45.I'm thinking once he is caught-up and, assuming he's in shape, John Jonson is starting.
