Do you think Noteboom is still the left tackle of the future?

Was thinking it would be Noteboom. Now I’m wondering. I
actually thought Corbett was falling
off at the end of 2020.He played well
though the last couple of games.I still think Edwards can move back to RG as well.

I think at least part of the reason for the swap of positions at OG between Edwards & Corbett was all the penalties Edwards was getting at RG, and they became significantly lower at LG.

Where we draft, i've had Walker Little and Radunz as within shot, and in my mocks, but would still like to seize on an opportunity to move up with that first 3'rd round pick of ours, moving up some might make a difference. Carberry should be a real asset to our draft room for both Stanford kids as well as most every other school he scouted and watched on film. jmo.
I would take either I would not pass on them with the #57 selection thats is for sure!

Radunz has those very short arms for a LT. He could be a starting RT as a rookie in our scheme if needed. He is tough on the run game & fits the Rams very well.

Little is a young Andrew Whitworth IMO just not as tall or big. Pure LT type with need to stew him for a while or slow smoke cook like your BBQ ribs your always fixing :love:down by the river. I am a serious consumer of all types of slow-smoked meats!

We'll have to see how the Carberry/Snead/McVay troika comes down on that, but I think one of them just may get to the top of the 3'rd round, and if we can use our #57 elsewhere and still come out of this with Walker Little, it may just be a coup on our part.

He was playing LG first before Corbett was traded. Then was switched to RG.I thought the opposite in 2019.Looked like he settled in.Then the surprise was not Corbett to RG & Noteboom was starting. Then Edwards took over for Noteboom when injured.
However it works,I like the depth. In 2019 McKromer paid the price & got caught trying to press there luck with injuries.Corbett meant so much to The Rams offensive Line & Les Snead getting RAMsey made a big difference.
Peter’s got paid, but The Rams needed to get rid of him when they did.Mcvay knows his players & keeps a solid locker room.I’ve never thought of him as a Genius, but a really good HC.

With the starting center post such an UNKNOWN at this time no way to really speculate what happens.

I still believe the Rams can get more production out of this draft for the 2021 season if they strongly consider an outside corner/ edge rusher or a replacement for Brockers/Fox combination. The young defensive players usually produce very early in comparison to all OL'ers. Any selection of an OT or OG is just players to sit on the bench. However, this draft is different due to the upcoming situation @ the end of this season with five of our important OL'ers involved in 2022 FA'cy & retirement.

It would be almost criminal & SUICIDAL :explode:for the future Ram teams to overlook & neglect the Ol in this draft after going through the super high cost to trade for a veteran well-worn out QB like Stafford.

I'm hoping we can carry 10 offensive linemen on our 53 this season, and yes, that Center question must be resolved heading into and during the draft, but with so many potential losses to the 2022 free agency period and whether Whitworth retires, we must prepare ourselves and the roster.
While a CB must be drafted, I still have a 5T ahead on a need basis, although BPA should rule the day ...

Currently, the Rams have 11 OL'ers under contract. That does include OG Jamil Demby & the returning Chandler Brewer. Rams went into 2020 TC with 13 OL'ers, which included the three centers Blythe, Jeremiah Kolone & Cohl Cabral minus Brewer. OC Cabral is now contracted with the Texans & Kolone is out of the NFL. I would think that Demby & Allen are the likely releases to make room for the two rookies that will be drafted.

With the upcoming Rams UFA 2022 event, I will guarantee you the Rams will carry @ the minimum 10 OL'ers with @ least 2 on the PS. I still think there is a major trade to take place involving RT Havenstein for a veteran center before TC opens.

P.S.-I do think that the Rams will be forced to make do with what they have now @ the 5 tech this season with Banks/ Copeland & Williams.
