Don't feel bad Baldy loves him. And Baldy's opinion is as good as it gets.I'm going off the pff grades in the tweet which I get can be flawed but they gave him high marks

All fair! No worries. We'll see how he turns outThey gave Blythe good grades too.
I’m sorry man, I just don’t see it in him. I think he’s backup level. A good OLT has to run block too and he doesn’t do that well, after 3-4 years of college and 3 years with the Rams. I get the idea of improving over time but I’d think he’d have showed some improvement in all of that time.

As long as Andrew Whitworth can remain healthy & play as well as he did when he returned after injury Noteboom will not be the starting LT. AW has two more seasons remaining on his contract. After what he showed the NFL world last season I believe he very well could fulfill his Ram contract.I”ll keep thinking Noteboom will be on the Left Side.I just think Bobby Evans deserved the confidence McKromer trusted in him.I know training camp & the Preseason will be so much different than the past.Ram Offensive Lineman are going to have to compete to earn there spot.
The smart plan from my point of view is to get Noteboom all the action he can get @ both OT posts. McVay might believe in seeing Noteboom to finally get more practice during the week @ LT ... more blending in the LT post between AW & JN in Training Camp & preseason.
Your so correct CoachAllred Noteboom has not had a lot of snaps .....@ starting LT. Since 2018 with the Rams.I think he is definitely a keeper. When he got a chance to play, he played well.
And because he hasn't played that much, we may be able to get a good deal on an extension.
We always need to bring in new olineman, but the way Notebloom has played, I don't think we have to draft a OT
in the early rounds.

Now it's possible that with two new OL coaches & what we have seen during the Kromer years might be changed up. Carberry from orders of McVay might desire that AW gets less HD work through the week than Kromer did.
Kromer never made any changes in AW's workload it was the same in 2020 as it was in 2019. Members here need to understand that Kromer was convinced that Noteboom would be a highly effective LG in 2019 & 2020. When you go into TC with your coach cementing you @ LG like Noteboom was in 2019 & 2020 you are not getting practice reps @ LT your getting reps @ OG because you're the designated starter!
From early this year GM & coach speak OL'er David Edwards was said to have a future playing the LG post but that was just before Kromer was sent packing. But I would be seriously surprised to see Noteboom back getting practice reps @ OG again. So just maybe we will see Noteboom start this season getting reps @ LT something not seen since his rookie season 2018! Kromer has no plan to blend in Noteboom with AW.

The adding of a 17'th game to the regular season makes keeping Whitworth well rested a priority. Definitely would like to see Noteboom getting all his snaps at OT this year.

The offensive run game coordinator & OL coach Kromer had his goals & objectives plans for Noteboom in early seasons 2019 & 2020 for Noteboom to be his starting guard. For the last two seasons from the time OTC's, Training Camp & preseason Noteboom was starting Guard not Tackle. As a Starting OG, you will not get practice reps behind AW @ LT you get them @ OG.
How many members in here that posted gave any consideration to the facts above?
Noteboom who has had two full offseasons of OG development ongoing in Ram camp 2019/2020 zero development @ LT these last two seasons. When starting LG Noteboom finally recovers from his calf injury he finds himself being thrown into the LT post with AW's MCL tear injury & members here find him lacking a future @ LT as a Ram?....... Imagine that!
I would like to see Noteboom finally get the opportunity to work in OTA's, Training Camp & preseason in the post he was made to play in the NFL......LT !
I am sure it was because of the AW injury & how shaky AW was after coming back from the MCL. That knee of AW was far from being healthy!Wondering about why Bobby Evans started over Noteboom in the playoffs? I think the fact he played LT.

Really haven’t seen him play on the right side yet. Not saying he can’t. We can always wish.
With our brand new OL coach fresh from 3 yrs of coaching @ Staford & that the Cardinals will be sending two of Carberry's starting OL'ers into the NFL draft I have been wondering just how Carberry sees LT Walker Little?Ran a bunch of draft sims and I realize that OTs go off the board quicker than anticipated just about every year it seems but holy crap there's some OL staring us in the face on almost every draft I've run. So not sure if it means anything of course but boy there are some positions that are likely to be loaded and OT could be.
The PFN draft sim had Radunz on the board which floored me. Took him immediately of course as I think Radunz is a slam-dunk round one guy. I think it's more likely Eichenberg is on the board but even in this one he went at 48 which is within the Rams' trade-up range IMO. Either way I gotta say that OT seems every bit as likely as OLB in terms of quality of the guys I'm seeing on average. Just depends if the Rams think he's a blindside type.

Was thinking it would be Noteboom. Now I’m wondering. II am sure it was because of the AW injury & how shaky AW was after coming back from the MCL. That knee of AW was far from being healthy!
Evans has been the top reserve for some time now. Noteboom/ AW/ Hav/ Corbett have all been opening season starters now. Edwards has yet to win a starting post in TC just like Evans. Edwards however is far ahead of Evans in playing potential. Edwards was badly injured & dealing with his Achilles over the last half of the 2020 season. Evans was in full health & has remained so even when starting for Hav @ RT & Edwards @ LG.
Who would you have starting for Edwards in the playoffs?
Many LT's transition well to RT, whether Noteboom can is up for for speculation, and until we see him make the attempt, pretty hard to say, especially knowing some of his current flaws with run blocking, but if he doesn't get the opportunity, we'll never know. Hopefully, the 2021 pre-season games will give him such an opportunity. jmo.
With our brand new OL coach fresh from 3 yrs of coaching @ Staford & that the Cardinals will be sending two of Carberry's starting OL'ers into the NFL draft I have been wondering just how Carberry sees LT Walker Little?
Little took 2020 off (Covid19) so there's that one major negative element in the mix on this LT prospect. The other major negative element is Little was injured very very early in the 2019 season. Basically, no one has seen this kid play in two seasons. The only person in the NFL who has any real sense of value on this great-looking pre-injury 2019 NFL prospect is Coach Carberry.
Rams just may have the goods on Little .... be it good or bad more than any other NFL team. Many Draft sites have Little gone late in the first round many others have him going in the 3rd or later. I just do not see an NFL team utilizing a first-round selection on a kid who has not played in two seasons. It might be an opening for the Rams to land an outstanding high-level LT prospect with our 2nd rd selection.
Even the very effective but small Blythe like Stanford center Drew Dalman could be a great 7th rd pick too. There are two other Stanford prospects I like CB Paulson Adebo & extra tall large wideout Simi Fehoko. I am sure Carberry can give true insight to Snead's team. That Adebo would be a dandy 3rd rd selection for us.
