I wouldn't.If I were an injury prone dude, I'd love to spend one of my final years playing 20% of offensive snaps on a great team, making good money, and getting to produce some explosive plays as an afterthought while having a shot at winning a ring. I'm pretty shocked that DeSean Jackson wasn't aware he'd be the #4 WR.
I'd want to play while I could. Especially given the time already missed the past few years.
A ring would be nice, but it wouldn't mean nearly as much to me if I didn't contribute as much as I could.
I'm trying to remember who it was, but I remember where a former NBA vet at the end of his career went somewhere to get a ring and mostly sat on the bench during a Championship run say something similar.
