COOP!
Yeah, I can't believe we stole him in the third fucking round. And add on to Woods, who was an underrated free agent and former second round pick (WalterFootball actually gave an "F" for the Woods signing. Shows what he knows.), Jefferson, Jackson, maybe Atwell, and you have a dominant and deep wide receiver corps.
Don't forget Skow ...

Dude, I would find this guy's email address and send him this with a love note.Walter-Football is Walter Cherepinsky. He started his site in high school.
A life-time Eagles fan, Walter hates certain teams ... including the Rams. In 2017, Walter-Football rated Andrew Whitworth the top free agent OT. However, once the Rams signed him, it became a terrible signing.
I just did a quick search of "walterfootball 2017 nfl free agent signing grades"
Below are Walter-Football's comments on the Rams signings of Woods, Kayvon Webster and Whitworth.
These are exact quotes / cut-and-paste. I only added the underlines.
As for actual free agency, the Rams signed Robert Woods to one of the dumbest contracts anyone has ever seen. Woods, on a 5-year deal, is probably worth about $5 million. Maybe $6 million.
Yet, the Rams gave him $39 million for some reason.
Woods is a horrible receiver, yet he's being paid like a second-tier No. 1 wideout. It's ridiculous.
Furthermore, the Rams overpaid for a horrible corner in Kayvon Webster, and they also dumped a ton of money onto Andrew Withworth's lap. This may have been a good idea a few years ago, but Whitworth is now 35. He knows he won't win in Los Angeles, so it's painfully obvious that he's just taking the money and retiring to California. He might as well break into Stan Kroenke's house and steal a fancy-shmancy chandelier.
That Walter Cherepinsky guy really knows his stuff!

I really think Robert Woods is just as good. You can only get the yards and the TD's that Kupp has when you're a primary weapon. I don't get why Woods isn't getting the attention he deserves from Stafford?
Who's more durable? I worry that Kupp is getting used up in the regular season and I hope he'll be healthy when it really matters. Woods hasn't been as fragile, but I love them both.Bc Kupp is better honestly. Woods is legit too. We are lucky to have them both.
Maybe, but there are other factors too. Playing with Stafford, but also really working with him on routes. The oline not just giving Stafford time to throw but Kupp time to get downfield and/or put moves on to get open. No weak links in receiving corps. Secondary has to defend not just Woods, Kupp and Higbee but Jefferson, DJax and RBs too.I'm happy that he turned it around. He was just average last year according to many fans on this forum, nothing special and definitely not an explosive play type of WR last year. He must have busted his ass this off-season to become this explosive play maker/top 5 WR.
Yeah been thinking the same. Been thinking it and being wrong this offseason in fact. But it does seem to me that paying 2 possession receivers is a luxury we can't afford on such a loaded roster. While I love Robert Woods, the Rams are so loaded at WR that I believe either 2021 or 2022 will likely be his final season with us. His CAP makes him expendable while he still has good trade value.
jmo.
