HAd some shower thoughts and realized something

Only coaches with winning records over Mcvay ATM:
Belichick
Harbaugh
Tomlin
Pederson

Thats it.

That tells me a couple of things:

1. Obviously that is a impressive list of coaches. All SB winners. When the Rams lose we are more than likely losing to SB caliber talent at the helm.

2. Sean and the staff are LEARNING FROM LOSSES. Teams that we dont see often, (and even then they must be talented teams) are the ones who can sneak up on us and get a win. The usual suspects of opponents we see in the NFC (49ers, Seahawks, Cowboys, Minnesota, Bears, Saints, Falcons, Cards) we have winning records on or a split and most importantly, we are winning the rematches (Bears, Saints, Vikings, Falcons, Seahawks)

3. Sean is young. 3 years in and still the youngest in the League. To only have those coaches as the ones you havent beaten yet is insane because Sean is only IMPROVING as time goes on.

My expectations of this team have changed. Making the playoffs would be great but ultimately im liking the growth im seeing the past two games. Ending the season trending UP by beating talented teams (which to be honest is something McVay hasnt done yet) is the goal right now, playoffs be damned.

Great win. Dominant win. It looks like this Oline is really gelling, and McVay has figured out some wrinkles, old and new. The last few weeks have been fun to watch. And no Zebras screwing us with biased calls!

The best part for me is that my son got to watch his favorite team play a great first half. (We are in PA so he had to get to bed)

Defense played extremely well, suffocated Wilson and the injury to Penny hurt their offense. Always enjoy watching Old Petie Carroll look, Baffled, Confused & Bewildered and love me some Bobby Evans and Tyler HIgbee, sure glad Rams extended him.

This was beautiful. I got really scared when the wind started turning and INTs and missed field goal started to become a trend, but what a pleasure to see this 95 yards drive to seal it capped by a classic Gurley stiff arm.

Going back to college for my MBA. Final semester. Between full-time+ work, 2.5 hours of commuting each day, and kids, I'm doing homework all night every night.

On football nights I manage to tear away to watch some of the game or read the forum.
Tell me about it! I was tring to watch the game with one eye and finish a final portfolio for a Masters Creative writing course, and I'm a TA and am grading a final essay (60 of them!). I wanted a couple of beers so bad, but I have 30 units after this semester, and only 6 units to get my MA!

PFF mouthpiece Collingsworth has been touting Evans and Edwards from the start.

I don’t know how they lose their current jobs. So what happens at Center next year? Blythe looks much better than Allen to me.

And what about Corbett? He’s auditioning now and hasn’t been bad.

biggest worry may be LT next year.

still expect OL to get addressed early and often in 2020 draft.

This is the best I have felt after any game since the NFC Championship. Best performance all year. No bubble screens! Especially on 3rd and long in the red zone. woohoo. Goff checking down to Gurley. Defense containing Wilson, not like the last time they played. Offense scoring early so the opposing team has to get away from the run and making it easier for our D. When was the last time we scored a TD on the first 2 drives? Now keep the momentum going. Dallas will be desperate so don't take them lightly. Look how it affected the RAMS. Go Rams

So much fun to watch last night. This is what we have been expecting to see this year. I think we can still win out and then we are in!

Survive and advance. Loved Gurley stiff-arming the fuck out of Flowers on the TD. McVay has Pete's number. He'd be 6-0 if GZ had made a FG and Kupp hadn't dropped the GW TD.

The fake bubble screen.... made me lol after all the posters the last few weeks have been complaining about bubble screen on 3rd down.

Now the defense going to have to think twice on how to defend that.

Blythe is a FA. Will be interesting to see if we keep him. I wonder if they'll have Corbett battle it out with Allen.

Rather have Reynolds or a second tight end out there than Cooks.
He stretches the field, even if he doesn't catch a pass. You take him out and the TE will not be so open. I think having just Higbee is a big reason the TE is getting more balls. Also no tell.

This was probably the Rams best game all year. Hopefully they don't overlook the cowgirls as the Niners are coming up.
