Really surprised that Xavier Smith was let go....he reminds me of Brandon Powell who I think we never replaced and definitely miss....

Had to edit a few times but I think that's our initial 53 once you add the three specialists
I don't think Smith was some rare returner or anything. But after you remove him from the returners it looks like shit. So no idea what the plan here is, but I do think returns are going to be a big deal this year around the league. And the Rams feel like they're not exactly positioned to take advantage.

Keeping the younger LBs was also an effort to improve coverage units. EJ is not playing STs.
It will...they can add 1 or 2 to the PS... and elevate them if needed
I thought that quarterback Trace McSorley looked pretty sharp in bringing the Washington Comman ders back against the Patriots for the win despite being a preseason game.
