"Multiple" is such a cliche.. but.. yeah.. I see this defense being very multiple.

A lot of national guys expect a drop off on D with the loss of Donald and Raheem.

I'm one of Raheem's bigger supporters on here... and don't see it. I think Shula is likely one of those perfectly timed promotions. I also expect him to build appreciably on last year's defense. They're gonna steal stuff that Baltimore did, for sure.
I don't get the Baltimore reference here. I know his grandpa was HC there 60 years ago but how does that apply to Chris Shula?

I do agree with you that his promotion to DC looks well timed as he has definitely paid his dues....

Sean was in no mood for questions about the departure of Jones. He chopped one reporter off at the knees when he asked for more information than just "for the good of team," canned response.
I thought he was going to go all Wolverine on the guy.

Baltimore’s D was widely considered the most innovative unit in the league last year and McVay always steals the best concepts.

Expecting an O-Line addition today ... either to the 53, or the Practice Squad.

At the very beginning of yesterday's media conference, McVay was asked about having just 7 healthy offensive linemen on the 53; and he acknowledged that they would probably be adding someone, and that he was expecting an up-date from Snead.

The Rams have an open PS spot; and could just sign a player to it.

If the Rams want to sign a player to the 53, they could try to get the player who would be dropped for a roster space on to the PS tomorrow ... like they did with Cory Durden.
