Remember in my much younger days a few friends of mine would go buy the 30 packs of Busch Light for each of us and polish most, if not all, in a day.
Some of my friends use to be able to do this too. I just don't know how anyone can drink a case of beer in 1 day, let alone a case of 30! After 6 beers or so I get drunk, bloated, eat like a pig, and then crash. Of course being stoned on top of all that didn't help. Ahhh... the good ol' days.

I can drink a good 24 through a day. But I have to be up and moving. Hawkeye parties, river days, etc.. but if I sit and drink during a game, 11-12 and I'm feeling good.

Yeah, the good ole days. Start the day playing video games, grill out some lunch, play some poker, have a party at night and grill some more, maybe get lucky for a few of us, the rest back to playing video games till we passed out lol. Sleep and reboot. To be young again.

A case of beer was just enough to get me primed. Of course I was using other substances as well, I could drink beer for 2 or 3 days non stop. Then I figured out it was much cheaper to just buy a 1.75 liter bottle of whiskey and make it last a day, maybe a day and a half. Been sober almost 18 yrs now, would probably be dead if I had continued drinking all these yrs.

This thread went off the rails. Maybe we need an Off Topic beer thread

We got one!

Yet, frighteningly, all these JAGs are actually still upgrades over last year's players. They will be better than they were last year, which is a big goal for them. Good? No. But better.

Well, they only won two games last year and now they actually have an adult in the room as their Head Coach.

Yep.
I have to hope the Rams are making progress on the edge situation.. because that would've been a decent fallback, imo.
Not sure what options are our there besides over the hill JAGs.

Clowney. It is really coming down to him, if they are going to address Edge at all before the year. They do have a history of waiting until they see the need and pulling a deal for Edge during the season (Fowler, Miller).

Best case for me the rest of free agency is to (not necessarily in order):
1) Extend AD, Coop and A'Shawn (moving money forward, when the cap is going to jump up with new TV deals)
2) Extend McVay and Snead
3) Sign 2 or 3 of Edge, ILB, CB, S. Names to consider are Clowney, Gilmore, Wagner, Honey Badger and others.
4) Prepare for the next Super Bowl by purchasing increased quantities of alcohol and ensure the parade stage has a photographer-proofed barrier/railing.

Clowney is as much of a pipedream as Wagner is to me. I'd love one of them but seriously doubt with end up with Clowney, and unknown with Wagner.
