may not be good news for Harlkey a guy who makes alot of money for a FB who doesn't play alot on offense. Especially if Rogers can replace his special teams value. On the other hand may just be bad news for the extremely raw Tammarick Hemmingway who may find himself on the practice squad.

The way McVay was "Talking-up" Hemingway, and didn't mention Harkey in his last presser, I think Harkey's days are numbered!

You would think....With at leat 3 real TEs and a real FB, he looks like odd man out...

Curious to see Gurley's production in Georgia with a fullback assisting in blocks

From CBS Sportsline:

PLAYER ANALYSIS
More of a H-back than FB with his motion blocking and receiving skills. High energy player on special teams. -- NFLDraftScout.com

So Rogers is not exactly a rock 'em, sock 'em-type FB . . . more of an H-back who is effective with screening blocks and can catch the rock out of the backfield.

No corners or offensive linemen yet. That is very concerning to me.

Rams most likely keep 5 CBs and already have four good bets in Tru, Webster, Robey-Coleman, and Gaines. Also have Joyner and Johnson who can play in the slot.

We'e fine at CB...Tru, Webster, Gaines, NRC...Maybe Joyner.

You can never have enough corners. NRC and Joyner aren't really equipped to play outside the nickel position so let's hope no injuries happen.

Not sure I agree.

Special teamer, good blocker. A football player there is always a place for hard working football players. McVay is looking for players to set an example at practice competing and playing hard. These players will help set that tone in and of itself this will be of great benefit. We have no doubt been troubled by undisciplined players and that begins in training. New Culture New.Attitude New Result
Go Rams!

That's not technically true. John Johnson was a three year starter at corner for Boston College before switching to safety. If the team decides his best position is corner, or we need someone at corner, he's there.

You may be right, Harkey only had 111 snaps last season, ... way, way down from 2015. Gurley was getting slammed behind the los on a fairly consistent basis last year, ... with a big adjustment to our OL and an added FB, it will be interesting to see him hit the interior this time around. Rogers can also pass the ball, so we may have some trick plays added to the inventory. jmo.
