With the injuries to the offensive line and top 2 receivers out I think Stafford's doing one helluva job. Second half of last year and first 4 games this year it sure seems like he's not slowing down as he gets older. Elite arm talent is still there. Processing is at a very high level. You gotta stick with him no matter what happens this year. Its not his fault the defense is among the worst in the league. With a middle of the road defense we'd probably be looking at 3-1 instead of 1-3.

I think they moved Brown because he wasn't effective at the nose. And yeah they want Gallimore in there to help vs the run. But so far Gallimore isn't helping much.

Makes sense. I prolly wouldn't delete stuff I've paid for. And all this stuff is, at the moment, alleged.
However... this issue with PD is much bigger than him. He rolls with people who get off on kids + do much, much worse. His "circle" of peeps includes very suss figures, and at some point, all will be exposed.

Despite being a Yankee fan, I'd love to see the Mets play the Phillies. They've never met in the postseason and I don't believe Philly fans want that.

So far a huge improvement over what they had been trotting out there recently. Liked him at Stanford and was quite happy when he was drafted.

I read it like this

I have stated this before but I can't blame him on that play because no way in hell should he have been responsible for guarding Moore on that play.

Other than the loss at AZ the team has competed. There are other issues non injury related, like red zone playcalling (always an issue it seems) and run defense.

Bottom line to me is the offense is handicapped and if it weren’t for #9 we’d be 0-4 and laughably bad.

Go watch the Broncos. Their defense is dominant and their offense makes other defenses look dominant.

DK costs the team 100k when he isn't even playing. Remind me again why the fuck he's even on the roster? Liability on the field, off the field issues, and now costs the org money just to have him on the sidelines. These are the type of roster decisions McSnead make that I can't understand.

It's a long season. A lot of teams will get better as they get healthier.

If, a big IF... the Rams win next week and are 2-3 at the bye, I can take that knowing they will be getting healthier in the next month.

Just take your time. Methodical drive and get 7.

Not much for a big spread, as it is usually myself...
So, made a fine loaf of Italian bread yesterday - and by made, I mean milled some hard white wheat and went from there. So, we'll have some of that with some hot and sour soup I made earlier. Seems like an odd combo.... whatever it takes for a win!

Being lazy here... I haven't watched much of the Bears outside of their offense as I switch through games to check out their QB. But IIRC Eberflus is from the Dungy tree, which comes with more of a philosophy of loaf charts and executing well than disguising what they do. Should be a good amount of cover two, plus our weapons are missing, and the Bears have a strong secondary. So Stafford has to be patient.

The way to attack that philosophy is running the ball, being physical and making them move that safety up. Taking the underneath. Then taking shots when you get the desired calls. So I'd imagine our backs are in for another busy day.
