Sometimes, acts of kindness can come from the most unexpected sources. Meet Cheeto the cat:
Cheeto's Story
Cheeto was a stray cat who decided to poke his head in at an Italian restaurant based in Tulsa, Oklahoma by the name of Gambill's Pastaria one day when a worker named Sarah (last name unavailable) wondered if he was friendly. Cheeto was absolutely a friendly and outgoing kitty, wanting pets from everyone. Store owner Hunter Stone Gambill said he was "almost part of the staff" because he eagerly greeted as many of the customers as he could. They named him "Cheeto" after his ginger coat, but he also earned the nickname "Garfield" after the pasta-loving cat of the same color.
Still, they couldn't very well keep him, due to being a stray cat very close to the street and unable to home him at a restaurant. So, they got into contact with Emily Shelton Gamel and Terry Gamel, who do trap/neuter/release programs and help foster cats. They searched for his info on lost cat boards, but found nothing.
Fortunately, two Tulsa locals with the names of George and Derek (surnames unknown), quickly stepped in to adopt Cheeto.. Now, Cheeto is constantly loved and even has an adult cat companion he adores.
So many people impact the world in a positive way, even if the impact is something as seemingly small as giving an animal unconditional love and shelter and the animal giving unconditional love back.
